Official Tulane game thread

[Loca5174]

That’s the most TU play ever

[lawpoke87]

FYI - was told by a friend of the family that Francis was not recruited or contacted by previous staff.

If KW doesn’t put this kid on scholarship it’s criminal….almost as bad as starting BB over him

[drboobay]

Are you at the game after all?

Well by the Grace of all that is holy, one will open up at the end of the year

[Original TULSAFAN]

Poor clock management

He should get Braylon’s

[TU1NNJ]

Probably best o-line play since Temple.

[lawpoke87]

Probably best o-line play since Temple.

Not being one dimensional and getting the ball out on time in the passing game really helps the o-line.

[TulsaRising1]

The more he puts Braylon in for a random play , the more I’m convinced it’s because they are trying to keep his dad happy … can’t have that , if he is causing that much trouble , they need to cut him

[Gmoney4WW]

Maybe Wilson promised Braxton he would do something for him when he came back from the portal, and he is keeping that promise as best he can, while attempting to win at the same time. It's a close game and a couple of posters act like we are being blown out.

I don’t know why he is doing it. Braxton is a phenomenal athlete so maybe he is proving to him he isn’t a QB by giving him a chance in hopes of him staying and changing positions which would be fine .

[TU1NNJ]

Special teams coverage is killing us.

I pushed our trip to next Friday instead so that wife and I could enjoy the city. Of course it means missing next game too.

[TU Pilot]

I guess we're back to terrible kick coverage.

[Original TULSAFAN]

Okay...

This Wilson guy (and I am fine giving him 2-3 more years) seems like one weird guy that is a pretty poor HC. Hope I'm wrong.

[TU 1978]

At least the basketball game starts at 2 PM.

What happened to Devan Williams? Is he hurt?

[TulsaRising1]

Good stop defense

[URedskin54]

Recognize that play from the Malzahn years

[TulsaRising1]

ESPN guy , “ If your Tulsa, I don’t see how another qb sees the field this season .”
Agreed !

[TulsaRising1]

Why are you bringing in Braxton!!!’??? Stupid!!!!

[TU Pilot]

STOP PUTTING BRAXTON IN

[TulsaCane12]

Messing with the flow of the offense

[TU 1978]

JFC - putting in Braxton always moves the team backwards.

['Cane-man]

I must be going out of my gourd. Did he really put Braxton in?

They said he is out today.

Yep.

Immediate penalty. From the center too I think.

isn’t listening.

[TulsaRising1]

Pleasantly surprised with our defensive play today

You keep putting ‘weird’ and ‘weirdo’ in every post now, hoping it will stick.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Constanza tried in vain to get people to call him T-Bone.

[TU 1978]

The officials are effing us again.

Original is now "T-Bone".

[TU_BLA]

I agree with the ESPN analyst that Francis should be the only QB taking snaps for us the rest of the season. Kid can sling it.

[URedskin54]

College football is the sport where if a runner is anywhere near a first down officials automatically move the chains to keep the game moving but they review borderline 5 yard completions on 2nd and 1

[TU_BLA]

Original is now "T-Bone".

Prefer Bobo for Original

[TU1NNJ]

Original is now "T-Bone".

Koko! Koko! Koko!

[Henry Kendall]

Again with the throwing a 3 yard pass on 3rd and 8. WTH

[maverickfp]

Nice to be competitive in spite of QB coaching decisions.

[TU 1978]

Nice 47 yard FG.

21-16

Tulsa’s best player… Chase Meyer
