I’m happy we’re winning and want to see better defensive rebounding.

Pringle is really hunting for the boards like Oscar used to. We need to find him. I noticed Oweh was double-teaming on block outs on him the last couple trips.

They do in Year 1 dude. Hell, we gave Cal 3 ****** years. Pope deserves a couple at least.
Cal got those ****** years solely because of that contract forcing us to keep him. His *** should have been fired no later than after the 9 win Covid year.

As for Pope, if this team had been rough all year then it would be understandable that they’re playing bad. But when you show for half the season that you’re one of best teams in the country and then you start playing as bad as they have and losing to teams they have then there’s no excuses or passes. We have ATLEAST 2 losses that shouldn’t have happened under any circumstances and you could argue that it could be 3 or 4.

Butler is simply here to run the offense and let Jaxson play offense. He’s cutting it out. He’s clearly not able to score like usual
He has’t been able to score in most of the games he’s played in since his ankle injury and then after his shoulder injury. He, Oweh and Robinson are the kings of missing layups.

USC is certainly getting too many second chances but I think we are playing pretty well. Shooting a respectable % from 3. Making our Ft's.

We DO play in the hardest conference in America. Let's just see how we do with Butler and Carr back.

I think Amari has made his mind up that he is not going to get punked or pushed around by anybody. I like his aggressiveness, now if only he can get his passing together he will be even more impressive.

There is a segment of this fan base that just wants to be unhappy. This is a step in the right direction. We are up 14 and playing much harder on the defensive end and people are still griping. That’s just who they are

Don't get me wrong. I get grumpy too. But with Butler and Carr back, now we have at least a fair shot.

You are such an idiot. I suppose the injuries have nothing to do with our losses. Why don't you just leave, you obviously aren't a Uk fan

Grumpy is fine. But there is without question a group of people that are never going to be satisfied unless we win every game by 20. This team has issues and this first half was a good step toward addressing those. Another solid 20 minutes of great effort on defense is a step in the right direction

I hope this is the game we get our **** back together and play as a cohesive unit again. Play hard defense as we can, and blow out the cocks

Need Butler out there getting some good reps as long as he's not getting beat to a pulp. Knock off some rust.

Pretty sure some of our posters haven’t really kept up with the conference. This South Carolina team you’re downgrading had Auburn beat and failed to close out.
This isn’t as much a bad team as a bad luck/bad break team

They didn't look so offensively challenged when they took Auburn to overtime. I am sure the team appreciates your backhanded compliment.
Anyone that didn’t see a difference in our effort and cohesiveness on defense is just not paying attention or doesn’t want to see it

Loving the defensive gameplan. A lot of token help trapping. Pope definitely wants to force a few turnovers and also not let South Carolina get comfortable on offense. Let’s see how our players hold up with stamina.
Huge difference defensively.
If the cats can get the offense rolling in the 2nd half, we could finally see a blowout.
Missed a lot of bunnies in the first half and that wide open three by Brea, ugh, I wish that went down.

We have been hampered on D and offense due to our top 2 point guards being out and with Carr’s gimpy back. That’s a massive blow to overcome in a very loaded SEC. Pope will be fine as he’s learning what it takes to coach at UK.

Again, don't get me wrong. I'm one of those dudes when a coach has time to build. I'm also not naive. We're in a tough tough conference. As long as we are playing HARD and not being stupid? I'm ok. Pope is adjusting game by game. And him showing a little fire after that Ole Miss loss? He's getting it.

He really should be aware of any potential blind pick to his left side. If Kentucky can get a good lead on them, I would feel better if they take Butler out of the game.

Like our defensive intensity.

Offense will work itself out.

Seems like it’s been forever since we’ve had Butler and a fluid moving Carr playing together.

True. South Carolina has been competitive almost every night out and against good teams as well. This is not as bad a team as their record says. The sec is just unforgiving
