We should have known man. You don’t get a generational rebounder for 2 years and then not get humbled the next couple of years
I used to work with a former D-1 recruiter. He said guard play a dime a dozen, but difference in the elite is with the bigs. Just not very many to choose from. To take the next step we can't rely on mid-major big transfers. This team is soft.
Trying to win with smoke and mirrors out here. Just sucks without Butler and Robinson we are going to finish so low in the SEC standings and give away seed after seed because of them being out.

Unless we get hot from deep, we're not seeing the second round in the tourney 
Noah is our second best rebounder. That’s not optimal. Carr is only a decent rebounder at 100% healthy and he’s playing at about 60%. That’s one area where Garrison could really help them but he’s just not very athletic nor interested in doing anything other than score.
Our rebounding sucks, seems like everyone stands around waiting for Williams to get the rebound. He isn’t Oscar, he needs help!

I called it out in November, December, January and now, this team watches the ball fly through the air. Nobody, not one single player, puts a body on anyone. They just ball watch.
6 turnovers some real bad ones too and gave up 8 OFF rebounds and they are killing us inside.

Carr is a waste of a 7 ft body. He plays at least a foot shorter than he is.

Unfortunately you’re either good at it or you aren’t. This team has a lot of “aren’ts”.
Literally all he has to do is observe a rebounding situation in practice, and stop practice immediately when someone isn't JUMPING and FIGHTING for the rebound. Call that player out.
Rebounding isn’t about jumping.
We are terrible jumpers "athletes". How many small guard drive in and we whiff on the block?

Alot better the Perry who is an offensive liability and getting abused defensively
Garrison, Brea and Almonar are all TERRIBLE rebounders. Carr is injury limited. Can’t Pope get these guys motivated to rebound or are they just that bad? Guess you can’t teach old dogs new tricks.

Me too. it's amazing how incredibly just flat out weak we are. even guys with size it's like we are just so soft
Guy is doing what he can while not healthy. He’s certainly not great right now but we need him to steal a few minutes and HOPEFULLY get healthy for the postseason.
