What are your guys' thoughts on refs? Do you think they bring a bias to a game for one team over another? I suspect some do.
Whatever happened to Karl Hess? Is he still officiating. I do remember that the ACC just came to the point that he wasn't to officiate any games an ACC team was involved in. I think he had Chris Corcianni and Tom Burleson escorted out as spectators. OFC
Back in the day when dean smith was at unx you could count on Lenny wertz officiating their games. He loved him some dean and every 50/50 call went unc’s way. It was obvious. For sure. I also think some of them have big egos and love the attention. I've always thought the best officials in any sport are the ones who you don't know their names or notice them just because they are doing their jobs. We do need them and they need to do their jobs regardless of which team may be their favorites. There is no question that they are fans just like the rest of us and springsportsyer I certainly agree that there all some that make calls for their favorite team. OFC

Cost us enough points to effect the outcome for sure. The phantom foul call on Roach at the end killed us. OFCWell, I wish we would've had better officials because their ******** effectively decided that game.
It did. Mark only played 17 minutes. I knew when he picked up his 2nd foul early it would be an uphill climb. The guys fought hard. I can think of two games where I can blame the officials. This one and '04 FF against Uconn. This one hurts so much more.Cost us enough points to effect the outcome for sure. The phantom foul call on Roach at the end killed us. OFC
