They cheat… pure and simple. The Big2 will always get taken care of.That’s just your typical day with Big Ten officials, especially if OSU or Michigan are in tight games. What’s called 1 way, isn’t called the other. The rest of the conference has Stockholm syndrome over the years and just accepts it. Nice to see Nebby fans push back a little.
Nice documentation job by the Nebraska fan, but I have seen much worse.
In fact, one of those times was a Penn State TD against Nebraska (in 2012?) that clearly crossed the line but was called a fumble.
Which begs the question, who will the B1G officials favor this week? B1G has Oregon, PSU, and OSU all in the top 5 of the rankings and Indiana undefeated and at 13, knocking on the door of the playoffs. OSU has yet to play Indiana. PSU has an excellent chance of going undefeated if they can get by OSU. But does a 2-loss OSU get into the playoffs? Does Indiana get in with one loss? If Indiana beats OSU (and PSU beats OSU), that makes OSU a 3-loss team, likely out of the playoffs. What does that do to "The Game" at season's end? And for OSU-PSU, does PSU get "home cookin" calls?Had to keep this week a 3v4 matchup….

My educated guess is that OSU will get the calls going their way (as usual), keeping OSU in playoff contention. The B1G can worry about Indiana-OSU when the time comes. It's really the only way to possibly get 4 B1G teams into the 12-team playoff.

Franklin definitely needs to get in the officials ears pregame about their DBs.I heard Todd Blackledge being interviewed today on Sirius this morning. He mentioned how "handsy" the Ohio State defensive backs are to the point where he said that they are not afraid of getting PI penalties. Maybe just trying to make sure the Big 10 pays attention to it this week?
I‘m sure it’s all just a misunderstanding.
More like...."this is what we're up against." We deserve better!I‘m sure it’s all just a misunderstanding.
The B1G officials will pay attention to it - only to the players in blue and white.Maybe just trying to make sure the Big 10 pays attention to it this week?
Shocking. Said no one ever. The B1G officials will pay attention to it - only to the players in blue and white.

Yes...each week, any team that had a Targeting call in the 2nd half can appeal it. And it's not actually the Big Ten that decided on this, it's the NCAA head of officiating. About half the calls that go to him are overturned.I don’t really pay attention to the Big Ten but I don’t recall that ever being done before. (It may have been but I’ve never seen it).
The call was made……. and reviewed……. and upheld at the time……… and now, 2 days later, they are overturning the call?

I know we complain about officiating too much but this is next level incompetence, bias, and/or corruption. BIG needs to take action against this crew.
No autopsy no foul!More like...."this is what we're up against." We deserve better!
The Ohio State corners have adopted the standard practice of the corners at the SEC schools--grab every play and it becomes the norm. It's one of the reasons Penn State receivers (who generally have been undersized) struggle to get open in these bigger games. It's another reason to start Pribula this week over a less mobile QB--run it (a lot) and utilize the TE's (a lot) who can't be grabbed as easily.I heard Todd Blackledge being interviewed today on Sirius this morning. I used to work as a part time gig as a recreation supervisor in a maximum security prison. Most of the inmates had at least one body to their credit. Basketball there had essentially 2 kinds of "fouls," permanent and fatal. One of the best was an inmate going to the hoop ...I heard a loud snapping sound.....he came over and shoved his hand in front of me with his thumb revealing a compound fracture. He didn't stick around to shoot the foul shots. No autopsy no foul!
