Too many turnovers and playing half court ball. Need to get back to pushing the pace.
Bad last minute with Buddy's charge and giving up the 3. Had it at 11. Could have been less.
Absolutely getting worked in every aspect of the game...disappointing to say the least.
No defensive discipline. Leaving our feet on every shot fake. And Nova just not missing.
What team shoots 67%? Buddy with only 5 points, right? I think if OU can step up the defense and Villanova can get a little cold, with Buddy going off like he normally does in the 2nd half, OU can still pull this out, but OU has to get Villanova to start missing shots.
I was afraid of this.

The analysts hit it all. Weak OU defense lead to easy Nova baskets, meaning OU couldn't run and had to play half court ball. Throw in the turnovers and no contribution from Woodard and it's ugly.
Open looks this half but they just aren't dropping. Hate to throw in the towel early but I just don't think it's our day.
I'll never understand how you can play your worst game of the season in your most important game.
Coaching move of the game so far is when Wright took the timeout before the under 16 media timeout. That was a 4 minute stoppage of play for commercials between Villanova's timeout & the media timeout before Oklahoma saw the ball again just when they had and cut it to single digits. That stoppage of play killed Oklahoma's momentum.
This one's over, folks...nice season but we're not coming back from this deficit.

I feel worst for Lon Kruger. ESPN ran an article last week calling him the nicest guy in college basketball. He deserved better.

I'm not embarrassed. OU just didn't shoot well and Villanova couldn't miss, even with people in their face. It happens. OU had a hell of a season and I'm proud of them. Only 4 teams can say they made it this far. BOOMER SOONER. Btw, next year should be great again. I really like what James brings to the table and I think he will help soften the blow when Hield leaves.

That was rough. But when I die, I'll be Sooner dead.
All I can say is wow. Great to get to the final 4 but I'm sure it's more embarrassing for the team I posted they would win. I had to watch it on my IPhone so shortly after half I went back to what I was doing and checking the score occasionally. I'm proud of them this season anyway.
