Rex Chapman owns a BMW.

BMW designed engines for the Nazis

Rex Chapman is a Nazi

/s

This is just Fox being Fox.

Rex donates money

Organization happens to be corrupt

Rex is corrupt

This line of thinking is stupid.

It would be like if any of us donated money to the church we attend and the pastor ended up being a crook.

Are we to blame? No.

In the eyes of Fox and their click bait? Yes.
Well if i knew the pastor was a crook beforehand than yeah i would be to blame. It’s not like BLM is exactly a peace creating organization. They were burning down businesses and calling for the assault and murder of Police Officers. Pretty pathetic if you support that type of organization.

He gave this money to BLM and the bail fund back in 2020 during the George Floyd protests. This action in Louisville is not being well received by just about anyone including Democrats. Some are calling for the program to be stopped completely.
I seriously doubt Rex knew anything about this decision by BLM in Louisville. It's total BS....but blaming Rex for this particular instance is unfair imo.
My problem with Rex in this instance is his SILENCE on the fact that he gave to a fund that PAID the bond for this mentally ill criminal. Rex LOVES to speak out about MANY subjects, but is predictably SILENT on this situation.

I'm blaming Rex for NOT answering if he SUPPORTS his donation being used to free this dude.

I get that, but in this situation you don't know if your pastor is corrupt.

Saying the entirety of BLM is corrupt, anti-American, pro-anarchy, etc would be like me saying all Liberals are ______ or the entite GOP favors storming the Capitol. It wouldn't be based in reality.

I live in Chicago and all Fox talks about, at least according to my family in KY, is how Chicago is burning to the ground (Summer 2020) or a war zone (the past decade). Neither are true in the way the media wants you to think.

Haha, what a surprise this is a fox news article. A way to attack both BLM and rival cnn in one little article. And of course their audience falls for the manipulation like the lemmings they are, pathetic and sad at the same time
Enter a Beta. So to sum up. The story is 100% correct so instead you attack the messenger.

Well it’s no secret Lightfoot is a damn idiot and several of her policies have led to Chicago being the crime ridden city it is right now. I’m sure parts are fine but the city as a whole is ***. As far as BLM the organization should be designated as a terrorist organization. All they stand for is racism, anarchy, and violence.

Article title is misleading. He helped raise funds for the organizations in 2020, not specifically to get this guy out on bail.

What I want to know is why is a guy that is a flight risk with likely mental health issues even given bail to begin with? Not the type of person who should be given the chance to get out of jail when he tried to assassinate someone.

While technically correct the bail fund has allowed criminals to be back out on the street to repeat what they do best...crimes. So did he know his likely virtue signalling donation would eventually be used to bail out a progressive CNN contributor/Courier Journal writing hate crime attempted murderer of a Jewish election rival? No. But he should have known that this was inevitable.

A church is not a fund titled BAIL FUND. Your expectation for a BAIL FUND is to bail out someone who has been jailed for a crime. Your comparison to a church is juvenile.

Again, that blanket statement about BLM would be like me saying Conservatives are fascists, racists, Capitol stories, etc. Sure some are but the majority aren't.

You're forming your ideals based on what you see in the media, off of stereotypes.

You see on Fox that Chicago is a war zone so you adopt that mindset that it is. You form the belief that it's "***" based on preconceived notions gained solely from what has been consumed from the media.

It would be like someone saying southern towns are full of racists who don't know how to read. It's just an unfortunate stereotype.

If he stands by his decision to donate and the fund‘s decision to bail out an attempted murderer, then he should have the courage of his convictions and say so loud and clear to anybody that asks him.

But he s a coward and won’t. Just the same way he blocks anybody on Twitter that challenges him.

It is fair to ask Rex, as a public figure, if he agrees with the way an organization spends its money when he raised money for the organization on multiple occasions. This is the same sort of thing that would be done by the media if a conservative donated to an organization or raised money for it and then the organization did something controversial. Don’t need 1/2 a brain to realize that. Rex should tell his future audience if he agrees or disagrees.

Let’s hope he disagrees with putting an alleged wanna be murderer back on the street within hours of the attempt. I think Greenberg’s response was the reasonable one.

Have you considered the left has exactly the same problem when it comes to its contempt for conservatives, deplorables, those who cling to our guns and our bibles. Look in the mirror.

Your sides Fox derangement is pretty funny actually. We have Fox and you everything else.

Whataboutism.

You can't denounce the other side for making blanket statements and then make a blanket statement

Both are wrong.

Hillary was an idiot calling the right deplorables just like some on the right are for calling Liberals communists, socialists, anarchists, etc.

1. Rex used to be fun on twitter. Then he became radicalized. This site is no different. I'd say there's a few dozen people who post here daily that have become politically radicalized in the opposite direction. Neither side can see it happening either.
2. Always be careful just throwing money at groups. I've never given to a politician and I'll never give to any sort of political group in general. It's a waste of money and you don't know whose pockets you're lining.
3. Rex should speak out re: BLM Louisville bailing this nut out. I can't imagine he thinks this guy being out is a positive for society.
4. Rex isn't to blame for what happened a couple days ago. Some of you seem more angry AT Rex and not the man who pulled the trigger or the system that allows him to be free at the moment.
5. You won't convince me that anyone and everyone who has worn a BLM shirt or has had a BLM sign in their yard is some sort of domestic terrorist. Again, I'm not supporting any random *** group, but some folks on the right began talking up this idea of adding BLM to the list of terror groups. Trump joined in, and now it's become a permanent talking point that BLM = terrorist group just as white male = racist on the left. You're all being pawns used to yell at each other. Put the blame on the shooter, not the gun, not Rex, and not the entirety of Black Lives Matter. I really don't think BLM is sending everyone records to play backwards that say "shoot, do it, it'll feel good..."

Most if not all vocal white BLM advocates are virtue signalling. They ignore the founder of BLM being openly communist. Part of their organization charter. But that fact gets ignored when someone with Rex's obvious issues feels the need to use his support and donations to the bail fund as a "shield" that gives him street cred as a "good person." My bigger issue is its embrace of Antifa. I understand BLM. Antifa however is a domestic terror organization.

Fox News and the like likes to highlight Chicago all the time, and it is indeed pretty high in crime, no denying that, but the 10 states with the highest murder rates are:
Mississippi - 20.5
Louisiana - 19.9
Alabama - 14.2
Missouri - 14
Arkansas - 13
South Carolina - 12.7
Tennessee - 11.5
Maryland - 11.4
Illinois - 11.2
New Mexico - 10.7

Worst seven states in the nation for murder are generally reliably Republican/Conservative states, based on 2020 data.

BLM is a Marxist organization. One of the co-founders stated so in an interview. It’s on YouTube if you want to watch it (or at least it was, I haven’t checked lately).

Fun fact. Rex only tweets out about 20% of the stuff that comes from his account. He’s got a person, who I won’t name, who is also from Owensboro who sends out about 80% of the stuff.

BLM’s actions prove they’re a domestic terrorist organization. Burning, looting, attacking, and killing aren’t exactly boy scout traits.

What is your position as it relates to Joe Rogan?
I don't listen to him so I don't have one. If people are leaving the platform it is their choice, you know, personal responsibility. If you are talking about cancel culture are you equally upset at what Repubs are trying to do to Cheney and Kinzinger? Let me guess, only one side has ********? 😂
