On a more serious note, remember this game against OU (picture below) when Jamelle Holieway was asked about Danny Noonan? Said that Noonan would never touch him. Loved the picture, hated the results of the game, however.

If this decision is in fact up to the players, once the players start voting for the red pants because they acknowledge the tradition behind them, then I will know NU is on its way back.

You hit the hammer on the head for that 86 OU game. TO went conservative with the lead in the 4th qtr and gave the game to OU on a silver platter. Barry took Tom to school that game.

Let me guess, Keith Jackson? That dude was a killer. Huskers need to wear all red's more often, those were awesome.
It's like someone had a vision on how to ruin our unis. Sad. I'm tired of being told that I should not be bothered when they mess with our traditions.
The red pants have become backups. If only they were given their chance to shine...
I agree you don't mess with the tradition of our team. But i could carr less when it comes to the unis or symbols on the side of the helmets. Maybe im not old enough to be stuck in my ways and against change of any kind. I think if the current players approve and they look cool, hell go for it.
