Ohio State prediction thread

It’s hard to say what Ohio St is. They were beat at home by Oklahoma then won games, decisively, against “weaker” opponents Army, UNLV, Rutgers and Maryland. Don’t get me wrong they are good, but when you put a chick who is an 8 next to a 4, the 8 can look like a 10. It wouldn’t surprise me if Nebraska kept it within the 10-14. I think Wisconsin’s defense, overall, is better than tOSU’s. Nebraska moves the ball on Wisconsin but couldn’t score. Even if we only score on half the possessions we had inside the 40 in the first half, it’s a different game.

I believe this is a different type of game than Wisconsin. I don’t think it’s a game where they wear us down by pounding it. They just have better athletes up and down the roster.

Who has Wisconsin played so far that has a good offense? Florida Atlantic? Utah State? BYU? Northwestern? Nebraska? My point is that is certainly not a murderers row of great offenses.

Great. Wisconsin didn’t lose to a team that was beaten at home by Iowa St. so they have that going for them. Good luck to you as well

news this morning says possible wind gusts to 40 mph during the game. I predict 49-6 with a couple of wind aided FGs, and Diaco says he is pleased with the progress on defense. NCAA in an emergency session adopts a running clock in the second half if the score differential is greater than 35.

Remember when we liked high winds because it negatively effected the opponent more than us?

I honestly just cant pick against NU in any game... i just think we are at home at night again and i just feel like these are the games Riley pulled off an upset with oregon state. the uber optimist in me Nebraska 27 OSU 23. The realist in me is we play as good as we can, but get over matched and wilt for a 42 - 27 loss. The pessimist in me OSU 49 Nebraska 10.

I'm pretty realistic by nature, but awfully pessimistic these days.... so I'll go with Nebraska 27 OSU 23.

Ohio State 52 - Nebraska 3. With Ohio State's defensive line and the weather I don't see Nebraska mounting much offense. Nebraska may not even score tomorrow. I don't see Ohio State punting very much. Maybe twice. Field position will be in Ohio State's favor all game. This is going to get ugly.
