Smart money says they’ll:
1) hire a celebrity former government worker lawyer to declare the entire leadership team & university culture guilty of heinous crimes against humanity in a high profile, grandstanding press conference, and then,
2) beg the NCAA to confirm guilt and levy whatever sadistic penalties necessary to permanently scar the entire community.

Because that’s what business & industry professionals do, right?

I do recall people falling all over themselves to say what a great hire she was for OSU. Curious what happened here.

Just scanning the comments around the interwebs, she sounded like a big supporter of athletics but was enormously unpopular everywhere else. "Toxic" being thrown around. Standard rumors speculating about her love life.

I think my new moral is to never allow women who once excelled at Field Hockey and/or Lacrosse to ever assume any position of responsibility.

I hereby submit my first and most compelling evidence 🙄

Field Hockey & Lacrosse Alum Karen Bretherick Peetz Receives Distinguished Alumni Award

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Former Penn State field hockey and lacrosse standout Karen Bretherick Peetz (`77) was honored at the 2010 Penn State awards ceremony last weekend

"[This weekend] was the experience of a lifetime for me and my extended family of Penn Staters," said Peetz. "Preparing for the speeches was great fun to think through the impact that Penn State has had on my life”
———————————
“[Thereafter I took great pride in being able to participate in the firing of a cancer-ridden Joe Paterno shortly before his death. That’s how much of a bytch I am]”.

Following is my augmentative evidence. I rest my case

Barbara Doran was a three-sport varsity athlete at Penn State – field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse”

11 years ago today, Urban Meyer was announced as the OSU football coach.

If only it had been Penn State.

I was one who thought she was a great hire. So my curiosity is peaked. I haven’t heard anything about her being unpopular and I’m not close to any rumors but I imagine something will surface soon.

From the article:

”A source told NBC4 that Johnson was set to announce her resignation Tuesday following a request from the university’s board of trustees, with Johnson allegedly having a contentious relationship with several members of the board. A source also said Johnson was the subject of an investigation by an outside firm following complaints made about her by members of her staff. Additional sources said Johnson is being held personally responsible for the departure of at least two high-ranking university officials.”
