Wouldn't it be Rhule's decision first? It is my understanding that Mickey has a 3 year guarantee. So if he is hired by the new coach or let go, he has a three year payday. I see many saying Mickey has to kept on staff which I do not believe to be true. The only guarantee is the 3 year money. I could be wrong.

I know that Mickey told Coleman and another recruit that his intent was to be here regardless of the head coach situation. So who knows maybe Mickey was part of the deal no matter what.
