So for 2019-2020 Brother Rice (a single sex school) is listed as 2352
But for St Rita they are showing as 1161.00 Chicago (St. Rita) CCL/ESCC (Green)
There is no way Rice has double the enrollment of Rita.
Mt Carmel is at 2041
Loyola is at 3346 (which as a two sex school I can see this being roughly double their actual enrollment of 1673
My guess Rice is at 800 this year (with a Frosh class of about 215) and Rita I would guess is about 670 total - so how does Rita get to 1161 and Rice more than double that?

I am pretty sure that if it has been more than 4 years since a school has won an IHSA playoff game then they get a multiplier waiver, so they’re not multiplied by 1.65 for the playoffs. I’m not positive as to when SR’s last playoff win was but if that really is their enrollment this season then that would be my only guess. Enrollment listed at 1161 would mean about 580 actual students in the building (their actual number would be doubled since they are a single sex school).

It changed this year. Very few schools are multiplied now.

IHSA using fuzzy math? If same sex schools are doubled how does SR have 1161. Shouldn't that be a even number?
