They were waiting with baited breath for any hiccup to whine but it's all for nothing , they have zero impact on who is coach . Don't believe me , the AD even mocked them with a moniker . If your complaints matter you certainly don't get dubbed microwave fans .

They have tried it both and both failed just the same. After 50 years it's past time to realize that the job is what determines who is coaching here more than anything else.

What concerns me is EKU put up 67 on AP. I know the team came out flat but even some of you down playing the way we played the first half should still be a little concerned. If we play even close to that level next week it's going to be very ugly. AP is a horrible football team.
Four big "need to win" games in a row, biggest rival you play next week against a team that's might be worst in football. I'm sure there wasn't much getting fired up for this one.

Part of the problem was the whole team players to the coaches chalked this up as an automatic win. They were looking to next week. Yes there is no excuse for the way they came out. Its not how you start that's important it's how you finish.
He made fun of you , that says everything about your influence . It's just complaints on the internet that'll roll right off the front page soon . You probably do think that most fans are in line with your thinking , I don't think so . We are going to a bowl , watch and see if Stoops will be back . You'll probably disparage Mitch over that fact but it'll simultaneously demonstrate how powerless you are over coaching changes . You were all in on Petrino , how'd that influence work out for ya ?
yeah it's easy to see why they over looked them. Just have to hope they play a hell of a lot better to open the game up next week.

You sunshine pumpers are just wrong. Stoops isn't cut out to be a great HC and he has proved it time AMD time again. You can honestly watch and listen to coaches ans you can see, hear and understand what they might bring as a HC... And Stoops doesn't have the it and that bleeds over in the way this team plays

You can't make enough lame excuses for this coach. A lot of us fans arevtired of this ..we want to beat good teams, stop making stupid penalties game after game... We want to stop being a laughing stock. But the pumpers are happy with a crap bowl and beating no team worth a damn!! Makes no sense to me and never will.

Joker was a failure that killed itself , it was a deserved firing . Stoops is going to a bowl , I don't think the two situations are comparable at all . The fans don't have power in this situation because they are not in unison unless you think the complainers on this board mimic the rest of the fan base . Believe me or not , it doesn't . So the net affect is no power or certainly not enough in this situation .
So not matter what happens you are going to be unhappy, I get it.
I wasn't comparing the situations or saying that this board's comments had an effect one way or the other. My point was exactly what I said.
None of the teams you listed play in the sec and were able to build something playing easier competition , the situations are not even remotely comparable when playing in different conferences .

the sec east has been the weakest that it has ever been so I'm not sure if that is a very good point. I'm glad for that because we have taken advantage. Lol

It's a good point because the teams he listed have had years of wins and bowls to build a program , UK hasn't had that benefit . The sec east being down one year means nothing when taking about the differences .
Your not grasping that a lot of the poor start can be contributed to AP being such a horrible team. UK wasn't the first team to over look a bad team and I guarantee they won't be the last. Its just a good thing that they realized and corrected it before it was to late. Starting a walk on QB that more than likely would never see the field shows how much they over looked them.

You acted childish for saying you were done with Stoops in the first half and that the outcome didn't matter. You're never going to look any better basing arguments off assumptions either. Kentucky has played many "real opponents" in fact more than most div-1 teams every year and their still going to be 6-6 at the end of the night and headed for a bowl game for the first time since 2010.
