Congrats to Jah.....very well deserved.

He's joined by Kaminsky (only unanimous selection), Cauley-Stein, Russell, and Jerian Grant.

Brogdon made the second-team.

Surprised that Okafor wasn't unanimous.

But Winslow didn't even make third-team All-ACC. TY Jones barely did. Expecting a third-team all-conference player to make an All-America team is a bit much.

I think Sporting News had Quinn as second team AA on their list. I'm just not sold on Bobby Portis, Wiljer, Pangos, or Rakeem Christmas getting in over Quinn.

Lots of great players in the country this year and happy for Jah. UNC nation must be disappointed in that Meeks got the shaft since he was going to be a much better soph than Jah as a freshman. Also they have to be a little chippy about preseason NPOY nominee Marcus Paige not getting any love but the good news for them is he can once again be a preseason NPOY again next year along with Meeks, Johnson, Tokoto and Jackson.

Congrats to Jah!

Jah didn't play very well this weekend by his standards, or the lofty season he's had to date. I think he comes out guns a blazin this weekend in Indy. He (and Duke) will want to get him going early and often against the Spartans and I think he plays with a sense of purpose and a huge chip on his shoulder.

Congrats to Jah. Too bad Kennedy Meeks' father didn't make it unanimous and vote for him.
You can bet Justise and Tyus would be on some of those All American teams if they were to come back next year...but of course that isn't going to happen (perhaps a very small chance of Tyus?). It's been a great ride and I've enjoyed seeing these incredibly talented, and poised kids play this year.

Congrats to Jah! He earned the honor, as did Grant, Russell, & Kemenski! I know Cauley-Stein is a very good player but when a players game stats are 9.1 pts
6.5 rebounds
1.7 blocks
25.8 minutes
How does he earn 1st team All-American. From what I've watched of Kentucky, he's not even the best big man on his team. Towns is better! His minutes are only 4 minutes a game less than Jah's. So if you adjusted his points out to more minutes played, he still would not be worthy of first team! So whats up with all the 1st team honors!!

It's not all based on numbers. Cauley-Stein is also the best defensive player in the country.

Sky and ODD used up our slush fund on the refs in Houston. Nothing leftover for the media.

WCS sure deserved to be on the team. When you go 38-0, SOMEBODY on that squad deserves First team AA

Not with what the officials are demanding now. They've become prima donnas and are now negotiating with other programs for their services. You would be amazed at how much the UNC games are costing us.

Well then you're gonna have to raise more money during the offseason to ensure that our guys get recognized on the All-American teams. Did you set aside money to ensure that Jah wins NPOY?

We had to use that money to insure wins against UNC They had out bid us in both games. UNC has some deep pockets.

Well then you're gonna have to find a way to get your hands on some of the money that the ACC is gonna get from our teams doing so well in the NCAAT before they vote on NPOY so you can use it to ensure that Big Jah wins NPOY

It's a good thing the NCAA is so against UNC too or we'd never be able to afford those wins.

Oh man, our guys are hard to please, Sky! We got our faces on wanted posters everywhere, and it's still not enough!

I'm telling ya right now guys, if we expect to win this next game, everyone is going to have to dig deep. Take a look at this pic of Izzo and the Spartans celebrating after winning their regional championship over Louisville. Notice the outfit the cheerleader's wearing. But if you want to see brazen...check out the T-shirts the players have on. This group is making no bones about what they're willing to do. These guys are ready to put the big money out to beat Duke. All Duke fans must come together, we can not be outbid. You know what you've got to do...now do it!
