No surprise obviously. For a one-year player, boy did he leave a huge legacy at Duke. Thanks for the memories Jah and I will enjoy following you in the NBA. Forever a Blue Devil!

Good for him. There wasn't much left for him to accomplish at Duke outside of getting his education. He finished with a national championship and as a fan I can't ask for anymore from a guy. Good luck Jah, thanks for everything.

How selfish.... this is why I hate one and domes... they only give us 1 championship, then they are done. The nerve.

Congratulations, Jah! Thank you so much for everything you have done for Duke. Even if we hadn't won the title I would feel the same way. You have earned and deserve this! Again thank you Big Fella. You are and always will be a Dukie for life!

Good luck Okafor. I loved watching you this season as Duke and I will love watching you in the NBA. Most of all, I love how you make the basketball look like it's a nerf ball.

GO DUKE

Anyway, thanks for the memories and #5. Rep Duke well in the NBA. I'm gonna miss your dad.

Good luck Jah. The extra space should really help him in the NBA. His FT will get better...the only concern is pick and roll defense since that is a huge part of the league now.

I wonder if he could get close to 20 ppg as a rookie.

All good things must end, and sadly too soon. Really enjoyed watching this great young man this year. So humble and well brought up, it will do me good knowing that "Chucky" will keep an eye out for him.
Thanks for coming to Duke, thanks for the joy that you brought, and most of all, thanks for helping to get #5!!!
Go Duke!!

Awesome way to spend your only year in school. Play for the best coach, in front of the best fans and hang a banner!

Why is he turning pro? Tokoto is leaving. Nah needs to realize he won't be the #1 overall pick now. The NBA loves guys that can't make open 15 footers.

Also...glad he moved on this quick. I think it helps Duke fans (which sounds crazy selfish...haha). Fans get their hopes up more and more the longer it takes.

This also locks in Winslow (which we already knew) and likely means Jones is a lock to leave too.

Those 3 freshman were just unbelievable. They all came in with such a calm and confident style and we saw them evolve before our eyes so fast...it almost felt like 4 years wrapped into one.

Just wish it was more like old times where we could watch them a few more years.

Interesting that some mock drafts have him as low as 3 now. Karl Towns is a very good player, but I think any NBA team is crazy to pass on Jah. He has some room to improve his defense and foul shooting, but his athletic ability and offensive skill is off the charts for his age.

Well the NBA game is becoming more and more about the perimeter and less about having a dominant big man. So I could see why on talent he should be #1, but based on value, he may slide a bit in the draft. No doubt, he'll get drafted high and get paid to live out his dream.

Very happy to have had him on Duke this past year.

As a lifelong basketball fan, I think it would be pretty cool if Okafor ended up a New York Knick, with their history of big men. The NBA is so much better when the Knicks are relevant, and it would be interesting to see if Phil Jackson could work his magic ,building around Melo and Jah.

He leaves Duke with a national championship and a top 2 pick in the draft. He leaves Duke on top of the world. I'm cool with that! Good luck Jah!

I wonder if Kennedy Meeks will be a better UNC junior than Jahlil Okafor will be a NBA rookie?
