I can't blame them. It will only be a factor for the CBI or something even lower (if it exists). A lot of teams would decline those tournaments.

I'm not certain, but believe the NIT has invited "Big 5" teams with losing records. What they mostly want are teams who can host a game and draw fans. I'm not sure Florida qualifies in the latter regard. I also think he wants to send a message to his team that he's disappointed and frustrated with their play this year overall.

exactly,they aren't getting an invite to anything but to watch spring football practice in Florida
