How much have you considered the entry of OK and TX joining the SEC? I've really been interested in following the ramifications of the Pope era and new team and not given much thought to how these new teams impact the regular season. Have you any thoughts on this?

I am excited to have both schools. They bring a lot to the table in the big 3 sports.
On paper they bring a lot to football but I have definitely seen both of those teams fail to live up to their hype over the years too.
It just makes the SEC stronger and more difficult to win in all sports. Ultimately when we get down to 2 major conferences, UK will be glad that it’s part of the SEC.
I think both will be fantastic additions to the conference. They lend credibility and talent and a helluva challenge in multiple sports. Good for the conference.
Obviously they’re both giants in football. I think they’re overlooked in basketball though, both have pretty solid programs.
They probably make more of an impact in football, but they are two quality programs in basketball. Two more good teams to watch UK play.
