Feels like Laila really struggles when there's any sort of game pressure. If we're a up against a mid-tier opponent, she's lights out. But against elite comp and in close games I just don't trust her to hit an open shot

OK plays rushed: they take the first available shot every time, good or bad. Some aggressive passing leading to early turnovers. they have athletes, so it is not killing them, but we can match their athletes so they cant run us like a lesser team.

Notably, we have not seen a true big yet at all, I would not be surprised if Thomas does not play considering the speed of this game.

Really like her ball handling ability. Have to think getting actual game action will help with finishing, etc. potential to be a really good defensive player too. A player who is going to give you everything she has, dive for loose balls, etc. Going to be a favorite in Carmichael with how hard she plays.

Just 7 min played and 5 pts for Chavez; I really thought we should be up with a margin considering that.

We are allowing OK to shoot 44%. That has negated our +8 shots taken advantage. But we have limited them to just 2 fast break points, that is excellent vs this team. But 16 pts in the paint is too many. That is partly due to us playing so small. Queiroz was our 5 with Burrows/Hull playing the 4 whenever Akot was out (6 min)
