Beamer may very well get fired after this season and he won't have anyone but himself to blame. He retained a horrendous OL coach and now we are reaping the consequences of that.
The guy on the SEC Network said it best.....I feel lied to because they said the offensive line was much improved!
OL is the group a lot of people said was going to be much better because of the great recruits we signed. I have to wonder about the strength and conditioning program. How can these great recruits come in and look completely inept? I think they are basically the same physically as they were in HS and legitimate college players can push them around.
There’s also the fact that our players seemed to be dropping like flies on almost every play to some type of injury. This isn’t anything new, and thank goodness none of them appeared to be anything serious, but why can we not figure out how to keep our players healthy and on the field?
It makes Beamer look most inept. Totally incapable of even identifying problem areas, much less fixing them.
Teasley is Beamer's TROB. Muschamp hired TROB as DC because he was a good recruiter. Beamer kept Teasley because Teasley is a good recruiter.
I don't care how good of a recruiter an assistant is. You still have to know what to do with them once you get them in.
We seem to have lots of injuries ever since Beamer arrived. He hired Day as S&C Coordinator shortly after being hired as Head Coach. I was VERY surprised that Beamer kept Day and Teaseley after last season.
I agree with 18 above that if Beamer gets fired after this season, he has nobody but himself to blame for keeping Teaseley. But, I would add Day to that.
I said it last season. He was staking his head coaching career on Teasley. It certainly seemed like a risky move.
Almost every yard Sanders got was due to his own talent and effort. He has to wonder WTH he was thinking in coming here.
The OL is terrible, my question is how can one of them be a captain on this team? I was truly shocked when I saw the “C” on his jersey.
I was thinking the same thing when he transferred. I'm sure Beamer lied to him like he does to our fans.
Tbf the tackles and guards are the ones who need serious attention not the center captain.

Hard for RBs to play a whole season injury free. But he might regret his decision to come here. Word will get out. Do not come here.

I thought we didn't have the money. I thought that was one of the excuses to defend Beamer.
We’re obviously paying some guys. Paid Spencer. Paid Juice…isn’t this why we’re pissed at him? He took the money and then sat out just to take more at Ole Miss.
We don’t have a $20M roster like Ohio State. But you didn’t think Rocket Sanders came here for a scholarship did you? Dude ran for almost 1,500 yards the last season he was healthy.
If he knew the truth about the OL I don't think he comes here. That’s just my opinion. I'm cool with different opinions.
Covet? Probably not. But we have some talent that other schools with real coaches could develop into good players.
Watching yesterday's O-Line horror show, I thought Sidney Fugar and Jaxon Hughes were both out there playing? Same old, same old. SIGH.
