I remember the days when the only teams who could match Nebraska's physical style of play was McCartney's Buffs and Switzer's Sooners. Times have changed.

Want Riley to go and make that push for the old school lines. Biggest off season improvement needed to me is the lines getting the mindset of dominance at all times.

It's hard to even remember that was the same program that we're watching now. I'm to the point that I feel stupid mentioning championships when arguing for the Husker program. Last title was 20 years. Think about that. 20 years. We haven't had an elite team on the field since 2000.

2000 never took 2 butt whippings like 2001 did. 2001 is when the yearly blowouts started.
Yip I was at that CU game and we got abused on the field and the fans were even worse to me and my family. They will turn into *** fans again and leave their team as soon as they start losing again.

But your point is well taken we have had at least one *** kicking to us each year since. Relevance will be determined by our next two recruiting classes, strength and conditioning to promote speed, strength, flexibility and injury avoidance = toughness and discipline. Coaching that is not working must be changed and that will be Riley's biggest challenge if he can get new coaching talent in positions of weakness if needed.
