Was awf.........now it's pidgie..................I thought it might be a good thing to have a thread that we could self-update from our old usernames to their new ones. (if there are any changes)

I’m guessing the name you want is being held for you. I hope you hear soon. (I did have to log out and back in sometimes to get the username area clickable so I could edit, but if it won’t let you change it to what you want, I would *hope* that means your “old” name is in reserve
In my case, my Rivals RR history was connected to this On3 account during migration, so I felt safe changing it back without the dash). Good luck!

The ads, though...holy crap. Adblockers won't work. It's painful. They even threw up a Sam's Club ad while I was trying to update my profile in settings.

So, I'm Blue Bigfoot. It gives me the option to change username in settings. But when I go there it has Blue Bigfoot as my username, but only uses the anonymous name when I post.
Anyone know how to resolve this issue?

So, did you simply come over to this site and log in, or did you create a new account here?
I created a new account because it wouldn't allow me to log in with the Rivals credentials.
Pretty sure I just followed the link and logged in. Definitely didn't make a new account.
You might need to file a ticket with support. I have a similar problem because I created another account. My old account is associated with this one. It's taken 9 days to get anything out of support but they finally told me they would merge my accounts, although it would take a couple of weeks. My situation might be different than yours. Good luck!
Edit: I found your old account. You probably need to check with support.

In the upper right, click on your "R", click preferences, and then profile. You can edit or add your avatar there.

Hey brother whats up. I haven't been on HOB for months now but I figured you might remember me i was on there for years. Im in the process of trying to restore my hold handle. I dont know why they added a bunch of numbers on the end of it. I doubt there is even more than one KYBOSS360 and definitely not thousands of them...lol. I miss yall crazy aholes over there and this new merger sucks

Well, it appears that Old_Red was taken (probably by me in a previous life) so now I am OldRed. I've been able to get part of my SUP contest working. I don't know what is broken so I may make a test version to see what works. It turns out that none of the underdogs for the bowl season last year are underdogs in the first games of the season so I don't know if my code can find underdogs but the dates are right,
The Watterson may be doing well, but im just a hillbilly from Hazard… lol
