Looking forward to watch Venables go up against Kiffin. Should be interesting.
Good to get the bleeding over with early. I'm also a Steelers fan, so I have a glimmer of hope for decent football this year.
I just want to see the offense score more than 10 points.

I think we will be surprised Saturday. Just haven’t figured out in what way.

Same here, we owe them one as we have only played once I believe and they won in the 99 Independence Bowl 27-25.I think we will be surprised Saturday. Just haven’t figured out in what way.

OU is crrently a 20 point dog last I looked. I would be very surprised if OU covers that. I would love to see OU upset them but I just can’t have any faith in the offense. Would be fun though listening to Kiffen excuses if the upset was to happen.
The wife and I will be in College Station this weekend attending the A&M / LSU game with some Alumni Friends that have season tickets. Never been to a game there before, can't wait! I will be foregoing the OU game luckily as a result:

They are a very smug high falutin fan base. Opposite of that Starkpatch Miss is one of the worst places to go. Their fans are more of the knuckledragger types.

I hate what’s happening but I can’t turn my back on the program that has given me so many great memories for the last 66 years. BOOMER SOONER!!
I will never turn my back on the program but when the product is bad it makes it very hard to watch. Last week was the first week I didnt watch due to family oblgations. Same this Saturday as we are in Branson with friends visiting from Germany and family. I will tune in as much as possible but I understand the sentaments from posters.
I don’t believe they are turning their backs just can’t bare to watch this current edition of OU FB.

I have 2 brothers that graduated from there and one lives in Oxford. They will be at the game tomorrow and hopefully they don't rub my nose in it too much.
The thing that bugs me are a lot of these teams and fans think they are getting OU at their best, meaning they still think of the high scoring offenses of a few yrs ago but thats not what they are getting. They think that because we are in the SEC and facing tougher competition is why they are running roughshod on us but thats just not true.
All I can say is get us now because this won't and better not last. We will be back.

The Hog fans I work with and other SEC fans actually know that OU is an injured riddled team. Yea they rib me but its sll in fun.
With the same wr that have played the past three weeks, we have zero chance. Burkes out again, I thought this kid was suppose to be tough and strong for his size. He is a big L7 give his is walking papers at the end of the season.
Keep in mind that he came from the b1g west which before the influx of left coast teams was the softest in all the land
