3 players picked in the 1st round, 2 of them questionable character issues, 1 pretty much sells out OM coaches. I guess one could say ... It was the best of times, and the worst of times !
So says a fan whose assistant coach just resigned with recruiting allegations and rumors of overlooked PED usage on team.Freeze is a class act. I don't get why some people are making a big deal about Tunsil accepting money. Everyone and there mother knew that something was up when he picked Ole Miss over UGA, seemingly out of nowhere. But so what? The NCAA is the most fraudulent organization in the the country. Both the University and the NCAA make millions off of players like Tunsil, and nobody bats an eye, but when players have the nerve to accept what is essentially pocket change, it's a huge deal. It's such a joke. Players should be getting paid.

In the end, Ole Miss has been racking up top 5 kids out of nowhere since Freeze has been at Ole Miss. Now with this, I would just come to a conclusion that just going to guys for money is a common theme at Ole Miss. I get poor kids getting help from wealthy universities, etc... but this is a blatant overstep of rules and gives significant advantages to certain programs over others. And SEC is a cess pool for this crap.
No major D1 football program is 100% clean when it comes to players receiving money and other benefits from boosters and/or coaches. Bama, Auburn, FSU, Ohio State, you name it. I've been consistent on that. Hell, throw in the elite basketball programs: Duke, Kansas, UK, etc. I just don't get why it's such a big deal that Tunsil took money, yet his own university and the NCAA make millions off of him. But when he takes money, which is essentially pocket change compared to what his school and the NCAA rake in, there's outrage and he's scum. PED's, on the other hand, I have an issue with. Is Bama the only program with PED's? Of course not. Does that make it okay? No.
RB, I am one who doesn't think Bama is paying players now, but that is the exact excuse given by guilty people, "everyone else is doing it". No everyone else isn't doing it. Look to signing days, teams that consistently have big signing days. Signing day decisions for UGA means the kid is not coming to UGA, the lone excepting I can't think of is Hardman and he had been a silent for months. Freeze and OM bought Tunsil, he made a random trip to OM, his only trip there, and shuts it down completely. Richt goes for the inhome and someone answers the door in OM gear and tells him Tunsil is unavailable. But truthfully, he probably made a good decision, he wouldn't have last at UGA with his habits.
[roll][roll]Maybe the NCAA will go easy on them if they change their name to UNC-Oxford.
Seems that he has an enemy, or maybe a rival fan that is messing with him and OM !Someone must be out to get Tunsil and Ole Miss to be releasing all that stuff on draft night. I look for his comments and admitting to taking money to get Ole Miss in a lot of hot water.

I said boosters and/or coaches, with the emphasis more so on the former. I've said that for months, particularly when I've defended Ole Miss when people have said that Freeze is a weasel. I do believe that the boosters at every school in the SEC have offered recruits money or some other benefit.
I really don't think he knew what he was admitting to when he said "I'd have to say yeah." Right before that he said it happened 7 years ago so I think he thought the reporter was askin about the bong video again. The lady who interrupted the interview and whisked him off stage said "he hasn't seen any of this. It all happened since he's been up here." I don't think he knew or understood the question. Now I'm not saying he's innocent. I think he took money as per the date/time stamps on the texts. I just don't think he knew he was admitting to it.
He didn't understand the question???? Wow.......what year did you graduate from Ole Miss? Cause obviously you don't understand listening comprehension and neither does he. Did you take some of those UNC level classes at Ole Miss? Seriously, The reporter asked him about money...........he said yeah. The text messages support his "yeah." But hey, no one is responsible for anything these days...right?
