After shooting the lights out against Michigan, Purdue is struggling to make shots today against IU. Hopefully the Wolves, who also shot extremely well against Purdue, will come back to earth against NU.

Man, I cannot stand listening to Tim Brando. He has diarrhea of the mouth and I have just put the TV on mute. I think he has the game Monday night. Ugh.

Forget the TV announcers. Listen to Dave Eanet over the Internet, www.wgnam.com, and sync your TV picture to it if you have a DVR.. Internet feed is always several minutes behind the TV picture. Very easy to do and you'll really enjoy the game.

I'll have to try this. Go Cats!

Here's how I do it. Hit the Pause button right when the ref throws the ball up for the tip off. Wait a few minutes for Dave to say "the ball is the air", or something like that, and hit Play. You'll be within a few seconds of being perfectly synced and can then adjust from there with short pauses or advances.

Don't touch anything when they go to commercials or half time break. Usually it stays synced for the entire game. Sometimes small adjustment have to be made, but not often.

I guarantee you will enjoy it much more than putting up with the network announcers.

Thanks, C-Cat. I've never tried this before, as I'm technologically deficient . . . but this sounds like even I could do it.

If you sync up the radio broadcast with the TV feed is one's ability to directly impact the game's outcome enhanced? I've found that being in the right seat and wearing the right clothes can work, even if the game is on DVR!

Honestly, Dave makes the game more enjoyable regardless of the outcome.
I don't do this because I'd rather not watch the game on a delay of a couple minutes, but Dave undeniably makes any NU game (football or basketball) better than listening to the TV announcers. What an excellent person too, he bleeds purple but calls the game fairly at the same time.
