Joe probably only made it in because they were too distracted/busy editing out someone else from the sideline shots.
On a related note, btn had a replay of the 2021 Pinstripe Bowl before this Alamo Bowl replay. 6-6 maryland vs. 6-6 vo tech in that Pinstripe Bowl. At one point, they quoted locksley as saying that maryland was “this close to breaking through” based on the talent they had been recruiting. They were 6-6 going into that game, and locksley had a pretty poor record at that point in three years at maryland. They‘ve done marginally better since. How close are they to breaking through now?
I can recall GeorgePa back in the day referring to him as “the Vietnese [sic] kid down at Texas A&M”
