I'd switch Florida and USCjr around, but other than that seems about right.

For the west, I just can't see Alabama coming in second even with a inexperienced QB like Milroe.

Yeah, it's gonna be interesting to see how A&M fares with Petrino running their offense. They could be dangerous,.

Georgia will be hard to unseat they miss Bama, LSU and a likely much improved aTm team this year. CATS have to play the Dawgs on the road, while UT gets Georgia and aTm at home so they can afford to drop a road game to Bama giving them a little better shot of stealing the East this year but we'll see.

Uga will win east. Any number of orders possible after them. It may come down to who wins the TN vs UK game n Lexington for 2nd place.
Let's be realistic about this and use what we have learned from past seasons. These preseason predictions are seldom right. They are posted to entertain fans and get clicks. I know to a degree of certainty that GA is the most talented and battle tested team in the east. I know that TN, Vandy, and SCar beat us last year. But until I see how the 2023 versions of these teams perform under pressure, I really can't predict with any confidence how this will go this time around. Seniors graduate, and freshmen and transfers arrive. Some players get hurt. Each year is different and there are always surprises.

LSU returns alot on offense, 8 starters I think and has 2 very good QB, maybe 2 best in the conference, can't believe one didn't transfer. Get a dominant DT back who missed most of 22, will he still be dominant is the question. I don't think ATM will get much better until Jimbo is gone. He was on the verge of being fired at FSU until Jamis came alone. I just don't think he is a very good coach, at best bottom 4 in conference.

That's fair. I'll just not bet against Georgia and honestly alabama n the west hntil proven otherwise. Its all mindless speculation n July.

I'll enjoy the SEC more once divisions are gone and hopefully to 9 games.

Listening to Cole Cubelic yesterday he's really high on the Aggies. They brought in Bobby Petrino to run the offense and upgraded their roster considerable with the portal. He had them as the #4 team in the SEC this year behind Georgia, LSU and Bama. As an aside he had Kentucky #5.

I am ready for games. So being excited for UK football let me say preseason I am picking UK to win the east. Why not. UGA 2nd (1 loss to KENTUCKY) and so forth.

Once the games start I might have to adjust my expectations. But heck why not pick us to win this year. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!

I would be disappointed if you didn't pick UK to win it. I don't think it happens but UK has one huge advantage, a QB with multiple years as a starter and 2 very good WR. Both of us have new OCs, UK is thrilled with theirs almost to a fan, while UGA is split on theirs even with the success he had first time around. If UGA has an advantage I think it's the OL.

UGA depth with 5 stars at level 2 of the defense and offense is the biggest advantage. We know *'s do not mean they put it on the field but UGA's development of talent along with Bama is beyond question. UK is doing good but on a totally different level. The best time I have ever had at old Commonwealth stadium was an UGA game (we lost) and I never made it to my seats. Ran into a UGA fan in RV tailgate 2 older guys with nice RV, large flat screen and recliners. Invited us to stay and watch with them. We had a blast talking football and such. Some of the greatest fans in College football if ask me.

Glad you enjoy spending some time with some UGA fans. We have some that travel to all the games in SEC. Depth might be an advantage but I was thing units not rosters.

SDS podcaster has them finishing 3rd. Said it was the worst set of coaches Bama has had since Saban arrived and the first time they didn't have an #1 in SEC position coach or coordinator at any position.

I'd the Bama fans dislike the DC any more that the last one he might need to skip town. But their staff has done a poor job of developing player the last few years. They just haven't gotten better through the season.

I could. Just in round 1 of the NFL draft alone, Bama lost 3 great players including their Heisman quarterback and an AA pass rusher who won the Lombardi Award. Then they lost 5 more starters in rounds 2 and 3. No, I am not predicting where they will finish, because every year is a reload for Saban. But if they do not win the west this year, that would not surprise me at all.

He is one of my least favorite guys on the air. If Bobby and Jimbo can co exist and keep things professional he would be an asset. But the question is can he not mettle in the play calling? Gus brought in a new OC to call plays at AU every year which lasted various lengths before he took over playcalling duties. But if they can leave the Co Ed's and staff members alone and Co exist they could be very good. I just don't see Bama beating LSU, their QBs are the real deal and could be top 2 in SEC. The backup is a very accurate gunslinger who is very willing to throw into tight windows.

Totally agree with you about Jimbo Fisher. His best season was nine wins during the covid year (an accomplishment with the SEC slate) but he also ended up 5-7 last year. If you look at their recruiting from 2017-2021 they averaged finishing #8 nationally but apparently had a hard time developing those classes, especially a QB. With the #1 class in ‘22 and Petrino coming in, I’d say Fisher probably has two years to fix their issues or he’s gone. JMO but I don’t see it happening.
