I get that the Left can engage in class warfare at times but I think that by and large what Obama said is correct. Also, an $8 M home in DC isn't that opulent and plus he just got out of the POTUS job, in which he probably was restrained from making a lot of money. It says he made $20 M in 2015 and 2016 but I suspect that is supposed to be in 2017 and 2018.
If Obama keeps buying more and more homes and luxuries while still talking like that then I'll agree that he's talking out of turn. And at any rate, he's out of politics now.
The Clintons are the ones that went overboard with making the big bucks while not even being out of politics. They should have made a decision after Bill was finished with the WH. Are we still in politics or not? If so then behave like we can have stuff we do come back to bit us and thus be careful. If we're not then do whatever we want because we're not in politics anymore.
