I love Tarrantino's work. Excellent film maker. I thought Once Up on a Time was a damn good movie. The music is always good in his movies. It seems like in every scene where a car is starting, a new song starts just as the engine fires up. Margo Robbie..OMG, she is simply gorgeous and oh those legs. My wife even commented on her beautiful gams. I read where he is only going to do one more film and then call it a day. I watched Pulp Fiction again Friday night and Jackie Brown last night..I will watch Once Upon a Time again and again as well. Classic line by Leonardo to Brad Pitt after his meeting with Pacino. He walks out, lights up a smoke and tells Pitt,," Well Ole Buddy, it's official, I am a has been." Another one as they watch the FBI episode, as Leonardo jumps out of the truck and Pitt says, 'Impressive Leap" Leonardo, "thank you"..I laughed my *** off during the movie..

I'm protesting this movie because it suggests that Bruce Lee was beat up by Brad Pitt.

Not on my watch. Not in my world.

Excellent movie. Very long, but it's classic Tarrantino.

Leo and Pitt were perfectly cast. I read where Leo originally wanted the stuntman role but understood he was a better fit for Rick Dalton. Both were fantastic and the cinematography was top notch.

I can't wait to see it. Tarantino just doesn't miss. And he's talking with Uma Thurman about Kill Bill 3?!

I hope this guy doesn't stick with his "10 movies and retire" plan he's been talking about.

Yeah, those were kind of like short stories. It was hard to get much going and as far as Tarantino movies go, it was very centralized: Not many characters, one location.

But, Kurt Russell was still excellent in it. It was basically his (Tarantino) one "horror movie" type of film.

I think of Grindhouse in the same way as Four Rooms...his segments are his work but I wouldn't put either in the same category as his other solo films.

I loved it. The cinematography and attention to detail was top notch. There were a lot of hilarious lines/moments. When Cliff has his long "Bruce Lee" flashback and just nods and says "Hmm, fair enough" we rolled.

I like to think that he was remembering the encounter his own way. Kind of like how I “remember” the time I “beat up” a kid 3 years older than me but in actuality i just pushed him off my porch.

Great film work, acting, and music. Love Tarantino movies.

Apparently the great Burt Reynolds wrote the line about "You look to pretty to be a stuntman."

I am definitely in the minority, but I thought it was "Eyes Wide Shut" bad. Easily one of the top 5 worst movies I have ever seen.

Even Showgirls had Elizabeth Berkley's fun bags, to prop it up.

The movie is 2 1/2 hours long and could have been condensed down to about 45 minutes. The only points of interest in the entire film were the farm scene and the final fight scene. The rest of the movie was directionless and boring AF.

The struggle to stay awake was real. The dialogue was non-existent compared to other Tarantino movies. I kept looking at my watch, praying to hit the 150 minute mark so I would be put out of my misery. My God, if I had to watch Brad Pitt driving one. more. time. ...effing terrible movie.

BTW...I have no bias against Tarantino. Pulp Fiction is one of my favorite movies of all time. This movie does not deserve to be in the same post as Pulp Fiction, but I thought I needed to clarify.

Blast away.

I actually heard similar takes this morning on the Ron Bennington show (Sirius Raw Dog Comedy). All three of the hosts were left very underwhelmed. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.

They said the story was just odd (who re-envisions the Sharon Tate murders?), The dialogue wasn't great, the characters were meh. The female host said it was like Tarantino went TOO far into the obscure. Which is interesting to hear. Tarantino and Coen movies always seem to be on the brink of going off the deep end and being horrible, had they pushed too far.. but they were great at never going that far into the "what did I just watch?" territory.

They liked the visual design, capturing late 60's Hollywood/LA was top-notch they said.. but everything else, very meh.

I think people who grew up during the 60s will Love the Movie. Tarantino captured the era pretty well and the music was Great. His attention to detail is what sets him apart IMO. If you are looking to be entertained then this is the Movie. If you are looking to get BLOWN Away then this isn't the movie.

/\ This. Great way to describe the Film. I loved it because I grew up in the 60's and the music and visuals in film take me back. Plus a couple of hours with Margot Robbie not bad either.
