If it comes to the point where Barnhart is in charge of a new hire, it wouldn’t surprise me if he hires someone from the Amish community if he strikes out on his first couple of options. I put absolutely nothing past this man and his train of thought.
That’s hilarious.

That’s hilarious.
There is a coach, Jebediah Yoder, who coached the Pennsylvania Plowmen to three Amish national championships and was 92-11 in his ten year tenure. The amount of games over that period seems low but you have to take into account the time it takes to get to an away game in a horse drawn buggy.

I hate that you are right about this. We are in purgatory right now. I'm not sure how we get out.
dumbest thing a program can do is hire a hometown boy because he's a hometown boy. Pope was a nostalgia hire plain and simple. If he didn't play here then we don't call him. Then there was the stupid dog and pony show of a press conference that swayed the fan's opinion. So silly. I agree it was time for a change, but given the choice between keeping cal or moving to pope, I am keeping cal. You're right we are in purgatory.

Get behind the coach, people. Show some damn support. Pope's got issues, but he cares way more about the program than the bozo before him. I expect him to soon suggest that he's going to ditch the analytics. People are obsessed with bringing him down, trying to chase him away. Guarantee you it's one of the reasons we're struggling to land recruits.
this is what Mitch wants.
"don't be so critical, sure we'll lose all relevance, but he's our coach, he loves UK, show him some support."
