I've already got more then enough clothes and plus I wouldn't wear stuff with a Nike logo on it if you paid me. (Well, okay, if you paid me enough I would, but you get what I mean.)

But one potential improvement of a subscription, aside from the extra information I mean, would be the lack of ads. There are ads all over this site but then again I'm getting it for free so I have no room to complain. But would I still be subjected to that if i subscribed? If not, that is something you should mention during promotions. More clothes won't improve my life but less ads will.

I have to admit I'm absolutely shocked by your take on the ads here. That's one thing I absolutely hate about most sites out there and very proud of here. But to answer your question, yes there are less ads for subscribers. A non-subscriber will see as many as four ads but a subscriber only two ads. But I'm including what are simply embedded content reminders that may have a short ad running the beginning. No pop-ups or ads that drain your system.

BTW on the current page I have zero ads both as a subscriber and signing out and viewing it as non-subscriber. If you're seeing a lot of ads you could have some type of malware/adware on your system.

I hope I didn't come off to complain-y. I'm getting this for free so I can't complain and plus lots of sites are worse. But I'm just saying that if you're trying to sell me on an upgrade then one of the selling point should be that there are fewer ads to endure.

FYI re. what I'm seeing, I have an ad at the bottom, constantly running video (or pictures that change every sec or two) on the right, unless I scroll to the top in which case the constantly running video on the right turns into a static ad, and another ad at the top that is constantly running video. I guess when I state it like that it doesn't sound like much but there is something about the constantly running video or changing pics that's bothersome. But like I said, if you're getting something for free then you can't complain.

I think I'm extra-sensitive to ads and junk in general. During football season when I have ESPN, I literally attach a black piece of cloth across the bottom om my TV so that I don't have to look at that constant, annoying scroll. It makes a huge positive difference, to me at least.

The feedback is appreciated and as I mentioned there are less ads for subscribers. One reason for the ads is after almost 20 years we haven't raised our subscription prices. It's difficult to survive on the same money after two decades. And that money goes to Rivals and is basically how they operate daily.

Not to defend this network or other sites but the biggest problem is how little money is generated by ads. That's why so many sites have litterally dozens on each page.
