She was incredible. Her message is, IMO, not as much anti-Trump as it is pro-American. Some people will at some point realize that the America they seek to tightly grip onto so it doesn't change....has already changed. Can't stop progress. Very powerful performance.
I saw some Facebook broad that said Gaga's halftime show was a praise to Satan. Like her "falling" from the sky or some ****. It was 5-6 paragraphs, very detailed and had scripture verses as sourcing. It was hysterical. I'll find it and post it.

So Gaga is standing above all. On the highest point, above all creation in that stadium. Can't get any higher. Stars are lighting up behind her and as the stars are illuminating in the sky she sings about “god” and this nation is made for “you and me”...... THEN...
She falls from the highest point, from the stars, to the second high point….. with the first words out of her mouth being,
“Im on the Edge of Glory”.....
Does any of that sound familiar? What scene was just played out? Anyone.....

It distresses me that any celebrity gets so much play for their political opinions or any opinions. If they want to inject politics into halftime of the Super Bowl then rather than have a musician do music and inject some politics in the process I'd prefer just randomly choosing five or so people from across the country and giving them each five minutes to say what they think.
They could do it in ways that would encourage other good things. First maybe make it a random sampling of the people that voted in the last election to encourage voting. Then maybe have a list of volunteer or non-profit groups that do good things and have the person have to have either worked for or donated to one of those groups. Etc. Then maybe you could randomly pick one name at halftime of the NFL playoff game.
I don't know if it would be any good but at least it would be different. The NFL seems to me to be unimaginative that they can't come up with something different each year than "Find a popular musician and put them on." They can do ANYTHING. It doesn't have to be a musician. Think of something different.

I'd rather see dogs catching frisbees than some giant music production. For that matter, if they are going to have a musician I'd rather it be someone different. A few years ago there was an online petition to have Weird Al Yankovic perform at halftime of the Super Bowl and I signed it. Weird Al, in addition to being funny, won't take himself overly seriously, unlike most of the musicians at the Super Bowl do.
