I don't get the premium either but when I looked at some of the four star RB's we are recruiting and are their list there are two guys. May or may not be one of them. One is Yasin Willis and the other is Micah Welch. One is the 11th best and the other maybe the 15th best in the state?

Ranked that high you would think AL, GA, OH St or MI?
Being 6'3 200, he may not be a prototypical running back teams are looking for.

Could be a situation where UK has his interest cause they are saying he can be RB all the way where others may want him somewhere else

Did you look at his full list of offers?
When you start digging it looks like he can go anywhere he wants. A straight ahead strong runner that can accelerate and cut well with a high IQ. Evaluation said he will be an early contributor at a high level program and a high draft pick. With what we are losing a guy like that would probably come in and start for us day 1.

Totally agree I must have not read what you were saying correctly.

I'll point out again that in UK's football history, they've had only five 3000+ yard career rushers and two of those have occurred in the last five years, both HS 3 stars in Snell and CRod. Seems to me common sense would indicate high ranked RBs will/would take note. We may be seeing that.

You have to think that the top RB prospects would LOVE playing in our offensive system. We are one of the few offenses in the country that FEATURES the RB position, have the Big Blue Wall and play and actually compete in the SEC.

With all of the Spread and pass dominant offenses, WHY wouldn’t a top RB want to play for UK??

Just play the tape of Coach Stoops telling our OC’s to keep running it.😁😁
