Truth be told, no matter which one wins, they will be perceived by half the population as a charlatan who stole the election. Either would have trouble getting their agenda passed and would likely be seen as a lame duck president for the next four years.

Difficult times ahead...

No one on here was being negative until you attacked someone simply for posting here and expressing his opinions which you obviously have a problem with.

You must struggle with reading comprehension. Go look at some of the posts on here. You call that civil and say it’s not negative. That’s all it has been for the last week and you come at me about being negative.

I only have a problem when I post my thoughts and someone comes out of nowhere and calls me a clown for stating them.

I read your post and thought it was eloquent calling for us all to "come together". Then you subsequently proceeded to rip into @WVUALLEN, essentially saying you'd been waiting all along to do so. Inside of one post you invalidated everything you called for, and made yourself out to be either disingenuous or a hyper hypocrite. It's your own words that exposed you, not me. I simply quoted back what you said and asked you to square that with your call for civility and us "coming together"?

The best way to promote civility is not to call for it, but to demonstrate it. You'd have much more credibility and you'd probably find some willing participants. Now if folks come after you, then by all means let 'em have it! However I didn't read where @WVUALLEN came after you, you attacked him.

Why?

I’m honestly confused with what you’re trying to say. I made the OP, argued with a few people, and then posted that I shouldn’t have even originally posted my views. Discussing politics tears people apart that would otherwise get along discussing anything else. I don’t want us tearing each other down over an election. I admit I did that. So, what I’m saying is I made the post about civility AFTER I realized I shouldn’t have said anything to begin with.

For example, I always enjoyed reading @Pospecteer’s thoughts. I allowed politics to cause myself to try and tear him down when he responded to the OP. That’s not who I am or what I want. That’s why I made the post about uniting as Americans.

For all the hubris, guarantees, MAGA parades, and immature tweets, he becomes the first one-term President since George H. W. Bush. I knew 4 years ago that all it would take is allowing Trump to be Trump for him to lose the election this year. He would alienate enough voters to ruin any chance of re-election.

In 2016, Donald received votes because people voted against Hillary and not for Trump. He also won votes from people on the fence that didn’t know much about him and gave him a chance. With all the arrogance and promises, he’s not even losing to a younger, dynamic, and energetic candidate. The American people wanted stability and were tired of their President being a worldwide embarrassment that only cared about himself. I’m not a far-left individual either. I want what’s best for our country and the best candidate in office, regardless of party affiliation.

I know a staunch Republican who is one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever met. He is a graduate of WVU Law and an attorney in DC who was sad to feel he had to vote Democrat for the first time in his adult life and that spoke volumes to me. Let’s just hope the country ends the divisiveness and unites as the greatest nation in the world.

Thank you for that....and just to clarify, I came here when the Blue Lot went crazy over Holgs and thought this would be a better way to spend some down time. I called some people out for outright making stuff up, proved them wrong and quickly found out that the left on this board (only 3-4) are truly racist and worse.

They continue to show up every day and attack the USA, the President and anything that moves. I'm OK with that, I know what I signed up for. Once Biden takes office, this board will flip and the right will make fun of the President, and those 3-4 will continue to tear down the posters, and blame Trump for every mistake that Biden makes, as that is all they will have to defend Biden..and they know that.

As for the USA, Biden will win, be exposed, and the Republicans will capture the House in two years and keep the Senate. Biden will not make the 4 years and Nikki will be the 1st female President with control of the House and the Sentate, with a constitutional SCOTUS...good times ahead...and lets not forget that Obama's actions allow Trump to armchair QB for the rest of his life...buckle up, it going to get bumpy.

I will move back to the Blue Lot and focus on sports again...give D2 updates as needed (I have a lot of friends in that space), talk basketball, I grew up and was coached, played with two hall of fame coaches...I know what I'm talking about because my opinions are based off of those coaches...will cheer for the Mountaineers and hope that we move forward in all sports.

LOL before I opened this thread I though he was predicting what Biden's term would look like should he win.
