Exactly. It is an illogical premise. If global economies collapse we’ll be trading bullets and **** like that. Not crypto. If one economy becomes dominant they’ll use their own currency.
Not even trying to be a jerk or dispute you, but if you think we’re trading bullets on the mainland of the USA with China, you’ve lost your mind.

Why would ANYONE want to try that? You’re going to March through every single town in America and fight, with guns, with those people?

Why not just shoot 90% of your soldiers and call it a day?

There’s no population more used to guns and how to use them than ours, and you think someone is like, “yeah let’s go do that.”

And trying to get here? Jeez man. We’re going to allow them to just drive or pilot planes and boats over here with no repercussions? 🤦‍♂️

I’m talking about people trading bullets for food locally because society has totally collapsed. Last off Us kind of scenario. Bitcoin won’t be worth Jack squat. Same with paper money. Definitely not talking about any kind of nation state adversaries trading bullets etc.

Well if you say so it must be true. 😁 People are basically 90% good and never seek out power or world domination. What silly gooses they must have been to write such a fable.
I could be wrong, but I think he was more commenting on the fact that folks shouldn’t be so gullible as to believe those types of nonsense websites.

Anyone who writes an article referring to the BIS as “clandestine” doesn’t know what they’re talking about and/or is simply a conspiracy theorist that shouldn’t be taken seriously.

Stack gold and silver and buy collectibles like Elvis memorabilia because the government can’t print them. You will need a trunk full of dollars to buy a loaf of bread and two trunks full of dollars to buy a loaf of gluten free bread

It's hilarious people saying "it ain't happening" when the people in charge are saying its coming and its about control and esg scores. You don't do as you're told and they limit your access to money. The EU already has a form of this.

A U.S. digital currency could be on the horizon. The Biden administration is putting its support behind the research and development of a “U.S. Central Bank Digital Currency,” or CBDC.

Is this a “one world currency”? Did China sign on to use ours as their standard? There is a leap that needs to occur to reach the point that that clearly biased article in the OP is suggesting that does not seem logical in multiple ways.

The reason governments want digital currency is for tracking and control Most EU nations have limits on purchases. If you spend over a certain amount you have to tell the bank what you need "your" money for. Canada shut down peoples bank accounts during the trucker protest. Doesn't matter if its a global crypto. Once most governments go digital there is no escaping the control aspects of that.

Think of crypto like being a 6yo with a savings account. Yes its your money but your parents decide if you can take it out for whatever reason. WEF has put out their plans for this. You could argue that the WEF doesn't dictate US policy but then I'd have to show you who they put into our government and what those people are advocating.

What you are discussing and the OP are are discussing are not the same thing. The Saudis and Russians adopting the Yuan as a trading currency just goes to show that we are nowhere near everybody using the same currency, digital or otherwise. Maybe some day, but at that point we’re either on top or have way bigger **** to worry about.
