West Virginia is 14-9 but some posters claim the team is “terrible.”

Only FOUR of the Mountaineers’ opponents have a LOSING record for the season!!!!

NINE Top 25 teams -- #1 Purdue, #5 Texas, #9 Kansas, #11 Iowa State, #12 Kansas State, #13 Xavier, #14 Baylor, #15 Saint Mary’s, #17 TCU – are on WVU’s schedule, 7th toughest in the country! That's 15 games against Top 25 teams on the Mountaineers' schedule!!!

WVU beat #17 TCU.

Lost to #13 Xavier by 10, #12 Kansas State by 6, #9 Kansas by 14, #14 Baylor by 5, #5 Texas by 8, #17 TCU by 4. Was 4 points down to #1 Purdue with 5 minutes left before losing by 12. That's an average losing margin of 8.4 points against Top 25 teams.

NO BLOWOUTS against the 7th toughest schedule in America!!!

Beat Auburn when it was #15 (out of Top 25 now despite a 17-6 record).

Only FOUR WVU opponents have losing records!!!

Is there ANY team in the country that could play 15 games against Top 25 teams and come up with a sparkling W-L record?

Looks like a lot of teams beat those teams. Does that make those teams better than WVU? How close were those games that those teams beat them or lost compared to WVU?
