Why couldn't the B10 kick Rutgers out? When you have a program that is blown out week after week, when you have a program that loses to opponents from weaker conferences, when you have a coach who is retained despite horrific results, when you have an administration that does not give a crap about embarrassing loss after embarrassing loss,
when you have a school that will not invest enough $$$$ to hire a competent coaching staff, and when there is no change coming any time soon, then why would you not get rid of the school that has become a stain on the conference?

Not true - Hobbs agreed to what was essentially a seven year guaranteed contract to a coach with no head coaching experience. Ash's agent clearly requested it but Hobbs agreed to it. Oh wait - Ash really interviewed well - that was actually the first warning sign.

Rutgers is bringing in too much money to get kicked out. There are a lot of alumni in the NJ/NY area that only has access to the BIG network because Rutgers was invited. This was the only reason we were asked and from a $$ perspective it's working out just fine.

If Flood’s behavior didn’t warrant 2 years of ncaa sanctions, those 2 years wouldn’t be extended. According to reports, no coach was willing to come to RU without the ncaa sanctions extension.

According to reports??? Never saw or read those reports but no other program would give out a contract like that period. There is always a coach to fill a 2 million position. Coaching offers are always done behind closed doors. No report would be able to accurately determine who would or wouldn’t take a position.
