Open practice today at 10am! Hopefully we can hear about the guys and how they look, let’s see who will be there!

Hopefully someone on this board will be there and can give us some inside scoops after practice! Plus tell us which recruits were there.

Exciting times! Season is practically here!!

Fine I’ll break the Ice with an update.

I saw there was open practice so I asked my 10 year old if he wanted to head down. He was very excited to go as we usually make it down once or twice a year.

Since my wife was going to palates and lunch after I needed to also ask my 8 year old if he was in. He did not want to go so I was not able to make it to practice.

Practice update from Tom Brands - "We love our guys"

This does feel like a year where there is not much hype, almost under the radar, and honestly, I dont like that. It means we dont know if we are any good or we are "settling" in attitude, we are fighting for the top 3

Maybe flying under the radar is a good thing; take some pressure off these guys.

Sorry this is now privileged information. The new facility is locked down and the guest list is VIP only...And Tom keeps his VIPs on a tight leash.

As opposed to all the past reports where an overwhelming amount of "information" was shared?

"The guys looked good...really scrapping...these guys drilled...there were some HWC guys there who also drilled...Spencer was on a bike."

Super informative.

Agreed. And also the reports of guy A really taking it to guy B when in reality guy A was to work on an offensive position with guy B his partner.

I know you were probably dropped on your head repeatedly as a baby, but there used to be a time when one could get at least some snippets of info from an open practice thread. Even if it were just scraps, we'd eat it up like a fat kid eats cake!

We are nearly 40 posts into this open practice thread and all we have are pictureless posts about some dude's wife and your usual "contributions" to the thread.

And that was on the old boards. This place isn't like that one was. Some didn't make it over. If someone here went and saw the practice they would obviously post. It was an OPEN practice

Yes, but the snippets were throw aways. "ZOMG those guys were drilling! They looked good!"

Anyway, my initial point was this was an open practice not some locked down thing as you mentioned in your earlier post. So what if none of the regular posters made it...big deal. Practice reports in other years could have almost just as accurately been written beforehand.

And I agree the wife comments and my BS posts were pretty awesome.
