It was practice. It was open. I was rather annoyed as it was difficult telling T & T apart at first. I will share one comment. Tom allowed one question:
“Why don’t they wear names so we know who they are”
Tom: “if they’re good, you already know who they are”.
As season is starting, I’ll be going back in seclusion. I’ve lost a little over 60 pounds since NCAA in March…… I’ve figured it out: stop thinking about it. Any of it.
The real reason I lost it is Gabe needs his *** whipped. He got it from me. Now he’s gonna get it from me!!!!! (Sounded pretty good in my head…. Thankfully the 1/2 white, 1/2 stupid thing kicked in).
Finally to the guy from here I met at practice. I liked your hair. It reminded me of Askren (when he wasn’t so vocal)

Dude you are looking good! That is an impressive job. Don’t go too far into seclusion we enjoy what you can share. Here’s to Gabe having a kick *** yesr.
This one was weird (12:30). They are usually in the mornings when it’s an afternoon game.

A couple of observations (my wrestling knowledge is admittedly JV):
- When they say there are five minutes left in practice. That means more like an hour and five minutes! Did best of three takedowns at about 1:30 (stated end time for practice) and I don't think we left until 2:15 or so.
- Leo - looked like a full go. Staff member confirmed he is good to go and a hammer.
- Ryder - Staff member says he has taken another step. Was taking it to a freshman pretty good (as you would expect).
- Ludington and Mocco went together. Tough match up for Harvey.
- Mikey took it to Schubert pretty good. Pretty one sided.
- PK and Gabe went at it pretty good.
- Staff member said Crookham loves it at Iowa.

But but we like our guys and tom is clearly the only one that can get the job done after 1 title in 16 years and Bob says the hwc is on par with everyone else! Lol
No, sorry, missed that. By the time i figured out who he was, he was already on a bike.
One other item. Kennedy Blades was there. Not much action during the period that I was there. But a treat to see her nonetheless. She had a workout partner but, other than that, I didn't see any of the women or their recruits.
The HWC hosted a nice event at Terry's house on Friday evening. Very well done. All of the Club guys other than Buchanan (I think) were there.
Women don’t practice with the men. Blades isn’t on the women’s team anymore and she has been under the HWC not the IWWC since last year.
I'm trying to remember how many times you've blathered this out. Impossible to count. Be creative Stud.
Knowing Tom, but not being there, I'm sure he was kidding.
Was Spencer in the room at all? Wondering how he’s doing heading into worlds with it a ~month away
Would be nice if the guy who’s paid to cover wrestling on this site, gave some intel on the practice he was at.
What is the opinion here involving Kueter and Mocco, is it basically a giving that Kueter is starting and mocco sitting a year or is it competitive enough for conversation?
Mocco is not at Kueters level at this time, imho.
I hope this is the year we can see BK at full force!
I hope mocco gets some opportunities this year at the very least if something were to happen to ben hes not the worst guy we could put in there. Also would like to see Bobby Duffy and David Calkins this year they had great senior years and were rising their stocks

Mocco will get matches this year, and probably some tough ones early I'd guess.
No real “sitting“ anymore since redshirts are gone. Finally.
Someone still be sitting on their hands, if not a shirt. But at least they’ll be up for wrestling in the second semester.
