We’ll have to see how they handle Crystal Lake South’s Big Ten offensive line in the opener. That should be our indicator.

CG has one lineman West, 3rd year starter, that runs about 265. Two other lineman run about 220. That’s their size. All else is total team speed. Some returning offense and defensive backfield. The QB from last year will miss game one due to baseball commitments. No real standouts if you’re using Beth Long criteria, but they will perform collectively.

CG has never relied on size with their offensive/defensive schemes. Team speed, discipline and Tradition.

Coaches don’t take it easy on you at CG , that’s how they get the most out of their football athletes that’s why size isn’t really an issue to them
