Been a Dodger HATER since Drysdale and Koufax were rookies (mid 50's) in Brooklyn!
....Duke Snider, Jackie Robinson, Pee Wee Reese, Gil Hodges
....Larsen beat them with no hitter in the World Series.
First game I ever attended I was 8 yrs old was at Crosley Field in Cincy between the Reds and the Dodgers. Rose was a rookie and Frank Robinson was the star and Sandy Koufax was the starting pitcher.

I agree. Grew up a Reds fan and still have season tickets.
Now I live mostly in NY and enjoy watching the Yankees too, especially this year, but will always cheer for the Redlegs!

SunTrust park is legit. Went for opening day last year and was blown away.
I was there as well! Took my little cousin to his first game. My Mammaw watched them when I was a kid and I became obsessed with chipper jones. Was a kid for the furcal, Giles, Andruw, chipper, javy Lopez, John smoltz days.

Actually heading down for the game Friday with my girlfriend.

Weren't Beaver Cleaver and Bobby Brady also fans of the Dodgers?
Yes, I believe Don Drysdale made an appearance on both. Leo Durocher made appearance on a bunch of stuff back then. I believe Mr. Ed was almost a Dodger too, I know Leo made an appearance on there as well.

I wore my vintage Barry Larkin 1990 Jersey to work today to commemorate the last Reds World Series championship. I was 6 years old at the time. Probably won't live to see them win another one.

Now That players like harper fetch 400 million dollar offers it will.be tough to buy a ship unless you are NY, LA, Anaheim, or another huge market that loves baseball. Ever since the braves got sold from Turner they don't spend anymore. Ah the good ole days.

We used to go to 10 games every season. Had family friend who played for the Dodgers and then Pirates.
Pete's official rookie season...I sat next to him at the head table at Lion's Club meeting. Pre-season traveling caravan. He said 4 words that I'll never forget: "Pass the Ketchup, please."

Go Mets! (keeping me humble since '86)

And for the "baseball is boring" crowd. The last Kentucky game featured 25 turnovers and 59 free throws. Talk about watching paint dry.
Not counting making you want to pull all your teeth out and scream!

I loved going to Crosley Field as a kid...great childhood memories! I grew up as a Reds fan...then those knuckleheads fired the greatest Coach they ever had...when they got rid of Sparky, I said screw them...
