Eddie looks like he'd rather be doing something else. He got passed over last draft. Just doesn't look like he really wants to be here. In years past I think the old Mac would ride it out. Not sure it's gonna happen with talented guys waiting. What are the odds EKj is back in the lineup? I do NOT dislike the young man. I don’t like the results.
I get they will try different guys this weekend. I also know it is a long season. However good staffs don’t give up double digit runs especially on Saturdays. I can see Sunday’s and week nights getting wobbly.Baseball such a fickle game. No telling how it plays out down the road, but this is a huge stage for all of the players in this tournament. Some can handle it and some can't. Mac figuring out who this weekend.
Really glad tomorrow is another high caliber opponent. He has to get a better idea going into this long *** home stretch when the level of competition will drop off until league play.
I expect Davis or Early to be at 1st tomorrow, Moore back in and some juggling of that order. As far as the pitching, I think they had a different path if the wheels hadn't fallen off.
He's 23 years old. No different than any other sport where underperformers are roasted on these boards. Does Mac wait all season before he tries something different? That's kinda my point. He,like Beard has had 4 years to become the starter in the outfield we need. It's excruciatingly painful for Mac to make the change,but..Boy Eddie sure gets roasted on here. Folks they scored 7 runs in 2 games. Has anyone been great at the plate?
