Can Beamer do what's mostly never been done around here and deliver? The powers-that-be gave us an exclusive time slot on the opening weekend for a nationally televised game. They ranked us 13. They've hyped us and our QB all offseason. Can we deliver the goods?

By most any measure, Beamer delivered last season.

It was probably one of the Top 5 seasons of all-time -- especially given the schedule and era.

We were underdogs in most of the games and scorched many spreads.

The same Media Muppets who are now hyping the team, largely based around a single player, had us finishing in the basement last season.

IMO, the question is whether we have found solutions for the holes created by major departures from last year's team.

We're we able to cobble enough NIL funding after paying Seller's hefty tab to purchase quality talent for him to distribute to?

Will the defense be able to replace leaders like Kyle Kennard and Debo Williams?

If so, it should be another exciting with the schedule ahead.

If not, we're probably looking at another year like 2023 when Rattler was running for his life trying to find targets outside of XL.

I think a lot of the angst for some posters could be lessened if other posters started putting smiley faces in their posts, to denote jokes. I think there's a lot more joking here than some realize.
