Duh, but beating up a team you’re supposed to beat up isn’t a statement. The only statement you can make against an FCS team is a bad one. You either crush them and it means nothing, or it’s closer than it should it should be and everyone feels scared about the future.

Tuu hi is seems different. Almost play a low level fcs team. SDSU isn’t a low level team. If we can win by more than the point spread it’ll be a statement. SDSU has the advantage of playing the week before too and working out first game jinks. Will be interesting

We crush them. This is the last thing I would expect or predict in most years, but in this case:

a) the start of the year is the best time to be a homer
b) the offense is going to be unrecognisable versus a normal NU squad

I get that sense also. The Fitz "get a lead and let off the gas" offense is dead and gone.
