We had offensive linemen that were barely 240 in Tom's day. But the fullbacks were dedicated lead blockers who hopefully were explosive enough that they could get past the second level on a trap play. Andra Franklin was more of a runner, but he was also a beast. We had a few I-backs who slipped in to play some fullback I guess. But damn, let's get away from this H-back crap. I can't name a single decent H-back who could block well. Haarberg's best chance of blocking head on was if a defender tripped over him as they were running him over.Whatever. Not all of our fullbacks were 240lb hammers in Tom’s day.
