Best half of basketball this year. Started falling in love with the 3 a little too much at the end of the half but still a very good half. Need to keep the defensive intensity up and make them settle for outside shots.
Might have been a better half of ball movement than we had at any point last year outside of SMU
Maybe things are starting to click. Much better passing tonight resulting in more open shots. Still some breakdowns on defense but much better positioning overall. Starting lineup looked really good.
Inside out game looked great early. Still difficulty finishing inside. Wheeler our best player. Birt again in a funk. 1/7 from the 3 and 0/1 inside the ring I think. Igbanu will be a stud for
Igbanu my most favorite player in a long time. Blend of Coley and Ruffin.
I can not believe Igbanu is a freshman. He already has a good basketball IQ. One of his offensive rebounds is almost always a foul because of the defenders position. He noticed it was a high bounce and waited for his man to jump. Very rare to see from a true freshman especially this early in the season.

Ball is sticking now in 2nd half. Need this media TO to get refocused. Make the extra pass and talk on defense.
Lazy on both ends right now. We are not even trying to work the ball inside right now. Settling for 3s which are open but not falling. I think Taplin needs the majority of minutes at the point instead of Henderson. Things seem a lot more fluid when he's running the game for us.
They keep making travel calls where there is no movement of the pivot foot as far I can tell
They seem to be anticipating travel on the bigs on both sides. Very frustrating.

We were talking about travels earlier, on that last possession Tinkle dragged his foot a good six inches and no call.
Some of the early season meltdowns have been ridiculous on here. Give it time. We have some good young talent.

Taplin my player of the game. Magnus and Etou were huge. Taplin did a ton of little things right that helped us win this game.
Oregon State isn't good, but i'm beyond impressed at the rapid improvement
Good win. OSU isn't good but any win is a good win for this team at this point. Some breakdowns throughout the game but overall a very encouraging performance.
