Early fear as mentioned in another thread. Can’t defend the 3 ball and not just Abmas. Need to get out on the shooters!

Second warning to coach Haith. Might want to guard the three. They are not beating us inside and help defense should be abandoned and guard your shooter closely. They are not driving.

Not even close to AF. These guys can shoot on the move. If we played like we are now we would have destroyed AF

If guys are out of position on defense as often as we are, we should probably simplify some things. Guys have looked lost all year

+100. It’s that way every year. That’s why we lose to Directional State early every year. It’s not the poor substitution patterns as much as it is our defense takes half a season to learn to play.

We run more set plays but lack scorers. Defensively we are slow forcing doubles and open 3’s. Just bad defense.

I’m not happy being down 5 at half, especially since we missed a couple of bunnies in the last minute but I’m feeling really good about our chances. ORU was blazing from 3 early and it’s tough to keep that up for an entire game. The refs swallowing their whistles actually work against us and our inside game where we count on getting free throws on a lot of our misses.

The 1st 11 minutes of this game were abysmal and embarrassing. We settled down after that and outscored ORU 22-12. Unless ORU manages to 48% from 3 in the 2nd half, we will win this game despite leaving good 3 point shooters open.

We have to find a way to get Griffin going, ORU did a really good job shutting him down in the 1st half.

the saddest part is how they have created an entertaining event for the fans. Good announcer student section and production that puts us to shame. Of course their band has always been great. But the whole show well done.

ORU can’t play any better and TU can’t play much worse so I think this is game on. Just can’t give open threes to anybody or let drivers go to their right.

We need to either go man or stretch our zone out to disrupt their offense beyond the arc. They are terrible inside. We need to not let them run their offense behind the 3 Pt line.

Guard Abmas. Their other players won’t beat you. If we can get Griffin going, we should be OK.

I’m surprised someone didn’t hire Mills after last year. He recruits very well to a tough school to recruit to.
