Really hoping Oscar makes it. He’s one of the guys that still supports UK and as far as I know hasn’t publicly supported cal and Arkansas.
His X posts are 99% UK related. It's awesome to see guys who are proud of their school. I think Oscar has a good shot in the NBA as he actually hustles and tries so that puts him ahead of about 95% od the league.

Over 2 seasons, he has played 13 games (8 last yr for IND, 5 this year for NO), and 117min.
In those 117 min, he has 58pt & 52reb (including 36.5% OFFREB).
Just suppose he played half the game (24mpg), that would extrapolate out to 11.9pt & 10.7reb.
I'm not saying he should start, there are other aspects to consider (DEF).
But that's a guy who can contribute in the league.

Other really good former UK player news, Kevin Knox got his 2nd 10 day contract with the Warriors. They are really high on him after his Summer League performance.

BJ Boston got a full NBA contract from the Pelicans. he has had a solid year, in 23 minutes per game (42 games) he is averaging 11 points / over 3 reb. / 2 assist / over 1 steal per game. Shooting better than 35% from 3FG.

Rob Dillingham is starting to get some clock and produce for the T-Wolves.

Cason Wallace was solid last night at San Antonio, recently back from his injury, last night he had 19/3/4. Is back to starting for OKC.

Jarred Vanderbilt has looked solid in his return from injury, lock down defender / rebounder.

IQ is back to solid form returning from a injured filled season. Had 24/2/4 last night beating Orlando in Orlando. Since the All Star break he is averaging 20.2 / 4.7 / 5.5 per game. Glad to see him back healthy.

I’m surprised he hasn’t got more time. They suck and he could be a solid player. He’s one of the best rebounders ever even now.
A couple years back there was someone I don't remember if it was a current NBA player or a former NBA player. But he said that Oscar Tshiebwe is the greatest rebounder in the world..... Does anyone remember who said this?

If he would have been born in the. 80’s he would have been a first round pick and played a ton. They just don’t value big men unless they shoot 3’s now.

Always loved Oscar. He had a nose for the ball like no one since Rodman, IMO.

Agree with others who implied Oscar came along two to four decades too late. He would've been an all star in the 1980s-90s.
