It was a horrible loss any way you slice it. Outside of 2011, we have played like dog crap against OSU, regardless of their coach or personnel. Part of the problem is lack of focus. This year it was the NYC Christmas trip. Another year they beat us in Vegas. Hard to take a young team to Vegas and keep them focused on the task at hand.

For whatever reason, we are to them what Utah was to us in the 90’s

As above, 5 of their defeats by 7pts.

Just stating a fact. They went from 3 loses to 8 on 7 points.
Its optics.

We've lost the last 3 to them, which is a ****** joke.

OSU is 33rd in KenPom. They’re a solid unspectacular team. We played bad, they played great.

What bothers me is us letting go of the rope the last minute or two when it was already over turning a 10 point loss into a 20 point one. Didn't matter for the result but killed us in metrics and optics of that loss.

It was a bad loss.

Those types of losses happen.

UK learned from it and has beaten Florida, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M since then.

That's all that matters.

Yeah that’s what made me mad, that should have been a standard 8 point we played bad loss but for some reason we just gave up the last 2 minutes.

Losing to Ohio State is not the biggest deal.

Losing to them by 20 is horrendous. There is no way around that.

Ohio State is also 37 in the NET. That keeps that loss in a quad 1 which is where we want it. We need OSU to pick up some wins to stay in top 50 NET keep that loss as a quad 1.

Yes folks we could have should have won that game but when you lose by 20 it is hard to even say that.

OSU could easily have won 3 or 4 of those losses by 7 total pts.

They just are a team that can't close in a close game vs anyone decent.

They won at Minnesota in a close one and Michigan lost at Minnesota in a close on the other day this stuff happens when the games come down to the wire.

Ohio State has the talent to be a NCAA tournament team a fringe one but when you can't win a close game well there ya go.

Was it a bad loss for Kentucky ? Sure because Kentucky was favored to win but it isn't the most terrible loss this team has taken in years or anything we know this. We have had some really bad losses to teams that were truly bad in the past years.

Losing by 20 meant Kentucky was not ready for the game or they just played poorly and OSU played over their head.

It happens.
