Key to the second half is whether OSU will be able to maintain the defensive pressure with their short bench.

OSU is overplaying every pass. If you fake it, get the guy in a back door cut a couple of times and the pressure will ease up.

The officiating is dreadful and painfully one sided even after the last couple of calls down the stretch. Refs won't let our bigs even stand in the lane. Averett throws himself into people like he's in a mosh pit and gets every call. Forte seems to have shrunk and Korita is making him look silly right now. In the orange uniform I'm pretty sure he's ready to go to work for Willy Wonka.

Reynold's Center smells like the Stillwater pig farms there's so much orange in here. Stench came with them

Korita's the leading scorer at half with 9. We were out rebounded by 9 in the first half, that seems to be the big stat, especially 6-0 OSU on offensive rebounds.

It's strange they keep talking about how young OSU is but ignore the fact that TU has 10 new players and has played a bunch of true freshmen in this game.

He makes things happen (Magnay).

This announcing crew sucks! It's an OSU love fest.
Mags is a stud. We haven't had a big like that in forever. He is not only guarding me taller than him but is stopping the dribble penetration of 0. Plus blocking a half dozen shots and blocking out. Best player on our team.

Gotlieb said one intelligent thing in the past 2 hours --- IF Tulsa does not turnover the ball, they win.

Note to Team.

That 8-point OSU run may doom us. I would love to have more faith but we are so inexperienced.

Well... it is what it is...
OSU's guards were terrific today.

Tulsa lost because 1) FTs and 2) selfish play. That last play, Taplin could have flipped for Magnay for an easy bucket.

Should have won that one. Took control of game then Korita missed wide open 3 to push it to 6pt lead. Confused as to why Wheeler was not out there on last possession. Taplin got a good look just threw it up there too strong

I don't mind Taplin driving and shooting there but my point on selfish play is that there were many times today we had wide open shooters ready and never passed the ball to them.

That's honestly my biggest gripe with the team so far. I know there's defensive issues but there seem to be stretches on offense where the team forgets passing is an option.

Haith is a skilled offensive coach and I think he'll be able to get it corrected by conference play but it is a frustration point at least one stretch per game this season.
