Using the season year, not the year of the bowl game/NCG.

1977 Alabama 35 Ohio State 6

1989 Auburn 31 Ohio State 14

1992 Georgia 21 Ohio State 14

1994 Alabama 24 Ohio State 17

1995 Tennessee 20 Ohio State 14

2000 South Carolina 24 Ohio State 7

2001 South Carolina 31 Ohio State 28

2006 Florida 41 Ohio State 14

2007 LSU 38 Ohio State 24

2010 Arkansas 26 Ohio State 31 (This win was self vacated by OSU)

2011 Florida 24 Ohio State 17

2014 Alabama 35 Ohio State 42 (This is Ohio State's only official win against the SEC in the post season)

2020 Alabama 52 Ohio State 24

2022 Georgia 42 Ohio State 41

Hmmm..yet they win rhe big 10 pretty consistently. Maybe in Sec they’d be like LSU ish but not unbelievable

And KY would play up a level like Penn St in that conference

I hate OSU with a passion, more than Duke, UofL and UT combined. But you have to give those bums a BS win over LSU in 1988. Edit - nevermind, you just have bowl games - my bad.

Their fans have stooped so LOW that they claim wins in the 40s - 90s against A&M & Mizzou as wins against the SEC. LMAO!!

If I'm not mistaken, Bama led that game at the half and for much of the game too, one of the few times Bama led and lost a game.

I have family In Ohio and am so glad to see Ohio get beat. I told my family "Well there are no B10 teams playing in the Championship game ". SEC is the toughest FBC there is. There were some great Bowl games this past week.
I’ve had to watch some OSU games over the years with just the one aunt/uncle duo OSU grads and their OSU goober-head offspring. It’s very difficult not to openly root against them in their presence. I’m a respectful mofo. They’d HATE me if they saw me in private during their games.

You would think that I'd be surrounded by them. There are plenty, but sometimes I'm surprised at the number (as in few) hats, shirts, etc I see. About the only time I see a lot is the day of the Michigan game.
My brother is a fan. Not big...but a fan. Way back in the day he was recruited by Woody.
His son/my nephew is a huge fan. Season ticket holder. Was in Atlanta the other night and has tix for the NC game next week. Be interesting if he goes or sells them.

On a side note....while typing this....LSU is showing Purdue what SEC football is all about.

Most nauseating school and fanbase in existence. Every time they lose is a good day.

Like all of you, I dislike OSU but they at least schedule people OOC unlike other major programs. They have played Oklahoma, USC, and Notre Dame OOC over the years. Many others shy away from that and play garbage programs and then strictly conference.

Yeah except when they chicken-**** and ran away from an agreed home-and-home with Georgia in 2020 and 2021. Almost every SEC program besides UK has scheduled marquee OOC games. When you get to play garbage Big Ten teams…must be nice.

Fake news. I recall UK playing Oklahoma and Penn State home and home during regular season. I was at the Penn State games in 76 and 77. Literally put PSU QB in a Lexington hospital first time he dropped back in 76 as we physically destroyed them. 77 was to be the payback in Happy Valley... except we came from behind twice, gave PSU their only loss of the season and likely cost them the NC.

I’m talking about recently/the BCS era. Hell that’s a decade and a half before I popped outta my mama, lol.

Spent four years in Ohio going to Denison in the 70s. The OSU fan base was then the most arrogant fan base in the world. I think it was 76. I took lowly Missouri at the shoe. Didn't want points, wanted odds on a straight up win. Had a fifty dollar paycheck coming from Denison. Talked four OSU fans into giving me 20-1...wasn't hard. Sweetest $1000 I will ever earn and will never forget. 22-21 has a really nice ring to it to this day.

When you play in the SEC, how much do you really have to prove by scheduling bigtime OOC opponents? I mean every week in the SEC there are plenty of top 10 or 20 battles. This league is brutal. Especially for programs like UK, trying to crawl out of the basement.

They would just hate me then. I mean HATE!! Respect or not, when the Cats are playing, I’m rooting hard. I would be yelling against the pope and My mother if they were playing Kentucky. Haha. Maybe not my Momma but it would make for a tough day. Anyone else , it’s C, A, T, S CATS CATS CATS! Lmao.

Pretty sure they do a home and away.
They do, but, every year, nearly every SEC team does the same. The exception this year was Arkansas, but they scheduled three very difficult midmajor opponents (Cincinnati, BYU, and Liberty) and unsurprisingly lost one.

Meh, it's easy to "schedule people" when you have far better talent than anyone else in your conference (including Michigan). They only have two games each year against teams with a pulse (PSU and Michigan) and the rest of their schedule is dreck. They played ND this year, so that makes a total of three teams.

I mean, there's many years where the SEC is **** and there's only two good teams. That routinely occurs.

No doubt Ohio State has struggled against the SEC over the years but I think we all can see they have significantly closed the gap with the top tier SEC programs. If Harrison doesn't get injured very likely Ohio State is playing for the Title.

3-“1” against the Big Ten again. Scores of players sitting out and the SEC still sticks it to them BUMS!
The Big 10's best wins this bowl season was the Rose Bowl against Utah who lost their starting QB in the game and the Music City Bowl against Kentucky whose starting QB opted out. The SEC beat them in a playoff bowl and two NY6 bowls.

Comparing SEC football to Big10 football since the year 2000.

SEC - 13 National championships
Big10 - 2 National championships

And if you want to go back an additional 10 years back to 1990. Total championships won

SEC - 16 National championships
Big10 - 3 National championships

The national championships that Nebraska won during the 90's was before they joined the Big10.
